Does anybody have any creative setups for Interactive Whiteboards and projectors? We usually have to standard setup of teachers computer on a desk near the whiteboard and all the cables close enough not to cause any hazzards. But, the science labs are due to be rearranged and there will be a good couple of Ft gap between to computer and where the teacher will be working/facing, running cable is not to most ideal solution, we have looked into wireless VGA but the technology seems a bit flakey still to me, is anybody got a similar setup running through a tablet etc?

We've been trying out AirServer to get iPads to mirror their displays wirelessly to the PC via AirPlay. I was actually quite impressed by performance - we only have older 10/100 switches, although we do have a decent Ruckus managed wireless system, and performance was fine, pretty much real-time. That includes having four iPad displays on the PC at the same time, too.

One thing you could look at is a usb connected docking station such as the Kensington series or the Toshiba Dynadock range that way you only have 1 cable to worry about.

+1 for this.

We are going down this route and attaching it behind the board so that only one cable comes out, for the desks further away we are going to buy extension leads.
