Hi all, Hope you are well. We have recently moved from AD to Entra for devices and users are Entra Connect Sync'd. What do you do with new year 7s with regards to setting up their new passwords? Of course with AD they would get a reset your password on the first login, but of course that doesn't work with Entra. The IT teachers are getting a bit stressed out, as at the moment students have to login with a generic password, go to Edge -> My Account -> Change Password. Is there another or better way? Thanks

Hi all, Got a weird one. I went on holiday for 2 weeks mid july, before I went when I sent software to devices from intune, they intalled fine. But over the last week since coming back, nothing is installing, even though I am doing the same thing. Everything is stuck on Waiting for install status. Any idea's what could be causing that? Thanks

Since Windows update Mice and keyboard not working on some devices
Theldron2.0 replied to Theldron2.0's topic in Windows 11
I have done some testing and we are using App Control for Business (WDAC), we are using the built in controls, Trust apps from managed installer (Which has been set as intune), Trust app with good reputation which has been set as disabled, as we don't want students installing anything. This policy is deployed to all devices, so I excluded one particular room that has the issue, sync'd and restarted a couple of devices and the drivers became unblocked. Removed the exclusion, restarted the devices, drivers restricted again. So it seems like the policy does not trust the drivers, even though I think they are generic windows drivers. How do people control these things, do you combine WDAC with applocker XML or use the WDAC wizard and add publisher rules? Thanks -
Civica Cashless Catering - Biometric software installation

No they won't let you do anything yourselves and you cannot get any guides. If you're within contract thought they wouldn't charge you for that change. -
Hi all, Hope you are well. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue but Windows updates installed on some PCs last night and now keyboards and mice will not work on those devices. In device manager there is an exclamation mark on the keyboard and mouse and it says: Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. An Application Control Policy has blocked this file. We are using intune, it was working fine yesterday. I jumped on a random computer that was working, installed the updates, and then it stopped working. So it's definitely the latest windows updates causing the issue. I am just trying to roll back the updates as we speak. But I didn't know if anyone else was experiencing this or just me? Thanks

Cheers mate. Sorry when you do the install for intune, do you need any config files as part of the install or just the MSI? -

Do you need to link to a config file or just install the MSI? I have contacted Tucasi just waiting for them to get back to me. -
@FN-GM Thanks for your reply. We worked out the issue. They have AMD CPUs in them with a firmware TPM, Intune did not like the TPM. Luckily the motherboard manufacturer released a BIOS update 5 days ago to fix this issue, otherwise we would have been snookered. Thanks for coming back to me though mate. Take care

Hi, Has anyone tried to get Zoostorm PCs on Intune? We have around 200 PCs with Asus or MSI A520 motherboards in and when we try to build them using OSDCloud, it doesn't download the profile and connect them to Intune. I have updated the BIOS as that was one issue, changed the serial numbers as they had System Serial number, but it keeps failing. Lenovo, Dell, anyothers are fine, its just these Zoostorms. Thanks

Thanks mate. Do you put the path in Wallpaper name or anything? If we can't deploy to a user group and it needs to be staff devices have 1 wallpaper and student shared devices have another I can live with that.
