More snow!!!

I think you jinxed it! The snows pathetic so far!

 

I am so very sorry. There was quite a bit on the ground at 4am though. Then it sleeted and got warmer. Now we just have horizontal light snow that isn't sticking

Phoned in this morning and the head closed the school for kids and staff but now snow has disappeared. Feel bad being off for nothing. Internet has gone down here so I can't remote in and the caretakers already locked the school so I can't go in anyway. :/ we were meant to break up today for 2 weeks so I guess Easter is starting early!

Partial school closure here...staff in but not years 7-9.

 

Came in to the Server room this morning, to find temperature alerts on most of the servers! (we have no air con!)

 

But the alerts were for being TOO COLD! not too hot.

 

That's a first, usuallly 30C. reading 6C this morning. The strong winds had blown a window open and decided to dump snow all inside!

It's ridiculous here to be honest, they sent out an email quite late saying 'Set off? Might as well come in and work until 12. Not set off? Don't bother!'

 

So essentially the ones (me!) that made an effort to come in are being made to work but if you were lucky enough to read the email before getting in you can have the whole day off?!

Bah - there was a fair bit when I set off this morning at 5am, but it's piddly here now.

I am underground so haven't seen the weather for a bit, supposed to snow like heck at 3 so I may be a bit stuck.... mananged to watch Cabin in the Woods at work though without interruption.
