Site issues 25/07/2007

 

First sorry you lot didn't have your edugeek.net fix last night first a timeline for you.

 

Last night:- We did an upgrade to dragonfly cms which didn't go to plan.

 

This morning at 07:30:- While holding sleeping baby in one arm i went about reloading a new update on. Found had to delete all .htaccess files and reedit template.

 

08:30 - Found that they had changed way they use blocks so all frontpage blocks where appearing on each page.

 

09:00 Site fixed with few minor issues which working on (see below)

 

09:10 Short break to change babies naapie ;)

 

09:15 Site reopened and goes for a drink.

 

On frontpage latest forums module is at bottom of page under news section and still is the old one.

The 'adverts' block is still above the main forum block. It should be below it and only the ICT Direct advert above it.

 

ok fixed that will have look at rest...

I've triggered the flood prevention too, and it's banned me from my main IP at work

 

Have disabled flood control and emailed the user to say can access the site.

I have also just tried logging in on firefox rather than ie7 and got a database error

 

Also i just noticed that at the bottom of the page it says database error
