First sorry you lot didn't have your edugeek.net fix last night first a timeline for you.

 

Last night:- We did an upgrade to dragonfly cms which didn't go to plan.

 

This morning at 07:30:- While holding sleeping baby in one arm i went about reloading a new update on. Found had to delete all .htaccess files and reedit template.

 

08:30 - Found that they had changed way they use blocks so all frontpage blocks where appearing on each page.

 

09:00 Site fixed with few minor issues which working on (see below)

 

09:10 Short break to change babies naapie

 

09:15 Site reopened and goes for a drink.

 

On frontpage latest forums module is at bottom of page under news section and still is the old one.

I keep being warned about 'flooding the site'. I usually open multiple pages at the same time but I'm being threatened with banning!!!!

Flooding is a major problem in many areas of England at the moment ... I'll break out the sandbag.

The 'adverts' block is still above the main forum block. It should be below it and only the ICT Direct advert above it.

Voting on surveys generates a database error.

I couldnt log in from another machine. Kept getting database error. it's ok on this one that has cached login though.

Confirmed I tried it on konqueror rather than firefox and it wont let me log in.

I've triggered the flood prevention too, and it's banned me from my main IP at work

 

Have disabled flood control and emailed the user to say can access the site.

I have also just tried logging in on firefox rather than ie7 and got a database error

 

Also i just noticed that at the bottom of the page it says database error
