I'm farming villagers at my base for emeralds and mystcraft pages. feel free to come trade. Also kill the ones with bad trades. I recommend a grav gun and a jet pack. If you personally murder them the iron golem gets angry.

MFR Cow farm now operational! :D

I went down the lazy route of a T5 soulshard with a MFR grinder :p the auto enchanter gives you some funny combo's on books.

Have you used the deep storage unit's from MFR yet? look like barrels on steroids, and a lot cheaper than the extra dimensional storage upgrade

I'm going to make some improvements to the grinder section, I want to have a conveyor belt. :D I also need to put sewer grates in the floor and a sludge boiler added to process it.

I am going to go the Applied Energetics route for most of my storage.. I will check out the deep storage. It might help with my wood 'problem' in the medium term.

Conveyor belt is working, MFR chicken farm is working too. I also had a bit of a breakthrough in the EU generation department. I built an MFR fisher and with the resulting fish threw them in the IC2 Gregtech Centrifuge. This produces methane which can be burnt in the gas turbine for 45k/can (32 fish). I can also store energy as fish this way. I'm tempted to call it a fishing reactor. :D

My Applied Energistics system is running so I can auto craft/sort/smelt etc. I'm in the process of converting from Thermal Expansion/Buildcraft machines to IC2/Gregtech. I've replaced most of my power production already. I now have thermal generators instead of magmamtic engines and a still and bio generators instead of biogas engines. I also have a nuclear reactor. I solved my wood problem, I burnt it all in a railcraft steam boiler.

@localzuk The server was lagging for me last night. :/

It went down for a few min's the other day while i was on.

Not been on too much for any big project's, building up a stockpile of UU matter though, and made Garacesh some sweet armour :p

S-sir, can I j-join? *puss-in-boots eyes*

No, really. I WANT IN ON THIS SORCERY! FTB looks ace but I've not had the chance to play it... is it kind of like Tekkit?

Yes. Except not. I've played some Tekkit in the past and I was still blown away by a lot of this.

I've not tried anything using Bluetricity yet (though I know those're in Tekkit, too), nor have I tried Beekeeping. Been exploring Thaumcraft a lot.

I have player detector blocks attached to everything. If I'm not online, my machinery stops. :)

What sorcery is this? I have nothing that might need it, although admittedly my current base does house a chunk loader, due to my current dependence on solar energy. Soon as I find a better way, I'll be getting rid of that. Not sure if that'd be contributing to the lag, though..

... unless I still need it for my end chest/pouch extractor. I'll have to test that one.

You wont need it to place items in the enderchest via the pouch, but the gate you are using to pull items from there will need the chunk loaded. Plus down the line when you are making UU-Matter, and centrifuging the higher end mats you will want it going over night because it can take ages!

Did you eventually get your house built TBlax? lost count of how many times you went AFK and needed to be saved from the zombie hordes :p

The Online Player Detector block. I attach them to my liquid tesseracts that pump lava around. This allows my main power production for my quarry to stop gracefully (I think it's about 10-15minutes after I log off). They also instantly cut the extra EU generation by turning off my nuclear reactor. They also cut the power to my cow, chicken, peat, tree and wheat farms (via power tesseracts). Additionally my farms are controlled by AE level emitters, so even if I am online they will not run unless there is a resource shortage. In the bee department, they are hooked up to my atarctic gates, so they do not pull items out of the apiaries/alveries unless I'm online (I need to finish these off and fully automate them with AE, however I need to use alveries for that).

You can just go and look at my setup if you want to check how the nuts and bolts of this fits together. Or ask me when I'm online next.

I'm not even sure who you are (I keep it simple and use the same handle.. You guys don't seem to :p) but I shall certainly take you up on that offer

He managed to burn down part of his roof with the fireplace before deciding to burn the lot down himself as he didn't want to be in a location with masses of mobs.

As for handles, I don't even like my edugeek one (given to me while at school - well it was either that or 'Mongo'...) so I tend to variate mine trying to find something I like and is unique therefore ending up with an inconsistent amount of handles that I don't like and worse off than when I started.
