I blowtorch it on the outside then griddle it for 30 seconds each side on a screaming hot griddle. I like mine blue-rare.

gives you bad gas the day after though..... :faint2:

My OH banned me from rare/blue steak after she got a dose of my after effects.

I have an iron constitution, nothing gives me bad gas unless I have a stomach bug.

Had a tom yum soup the other night, and despite my face burning for ages, and my stomach growling for 20 mins, no other after effects!

Please find the steak prior to being cooked...put my own homemade quick steak marinade (Soy Sauce, brown sugar, all spice, chinese 5 spice), adds a nice crust and flavour to the outside of the steak whilst keeping the beefy flavour inside...my hand is there for size comparison!

With roast beef but not with steak!

Yes!

Baked potato?! Booo! CHIPS! :)

Salad? Get that out of there! Or swap it for slaw or a corn on the cob!

Yes! Even better roasted with some balsamic vinegar on them too.

Yourshires?! What a genius idea! I love Yorkshires!

I hope you took a pic of your side plate too? ;)

Mustard dip - beef and mustard in any fashion is awesome

Salad did contain a corn on the cob.

I personally prefer a baked potato to chips, but it was a coin flip for which one to have as the mrs wanted chips...I won.

No side plate pic however :(
