knightrider Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Good luck. Had similar experience 3 weeks ago today. Very weird feeling. Even worse when you get to the new place and realise you now know nothing and no one!!!! Was just about to say the same thing. Nothing says 'new guy' more than eating lunch on your own in the staff room!! 1
witch Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 and a big thanks to @witch who helped polish off my CV, within an hour of posting it on a recruitment site I'd been nabbed for my new job THANKS You are very welcome! Good luck and enjoy your new job 1
fiza Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I hate being the new guy. You dont want to come over all "gung-ho" saying this should change and that should change even though you know it has to. Never EVER say "in my last place we did it like blah blah blah" (people dont like that!!). Talking from bitter experience from many years ago! Ive learnt a lot since then!
