Allowing SLT and Cover staff to "drop in" on Teams
knightrider replied to m0bov's topic in Cloud Services
Yes, that would work but all our classes are created automatically so this isn't possible. -

Wow! I see what you mean by being confused by it!! -

You got a link to the Github solution you mention? -
But I as a non class owner can’t do this & this is why I’m confused I think.
-
So it’s done inside the App & not in the admin centre? Makes no sense & what if I want someone to have ‘leader’ who are not class owners, Trust Data Director for instance, is that possible or not?
-
I've got it working in you are a class owner *educator) but I want to set it so someone can see the entire organisations stats (Leader\) but can't find any instructions/detailed info as to where I would make this change. Can anyone help?

Vodaphone Free Data for Schools

Does anyone know if the DFE ones are locked? I've got some from the first lockdown and the sim is not active anymore. I'm wanting to put new SIMS in them and then reuse the dongle instead of buying new. Got over 200 so it would say quite a bit of cash. -
DM'd you.

Years ago I created a report in SIMS which did this. You ran it in SIMS & up popped a dialogue box. Type the name of the student & an email opened with the names of all the staff who taught that student in the To field. I’ll see if I can dig it out again.

yes, simple to setup. Getting about 93mb on a 100mb connection download and 6mb on upload

GDPR CCTV clip to parent

What does it state in your policy? Always list who can view footage this includes police, SMT but no 3rd party. It doesn't matter if it is the head of school requesting this, if it states 3rd parties can't view your policy then 3rd parties can't view. Simple. -
I also can't speak for schools, but I have been using JANET for the last 5 years in FE and I have 5 connections with them. Great service, professional and no major issues in all that time. I also agree with them being great value for money

I've got the same project to do as well. Am I guessing you have got sufficient power and data at the area you want to put the camera? I don't and this is proving to be a nightmare! Having to look at solar powered stuff and cameras with SIM cards in for data! Have you looked at this: Buy Brinno BCC100 construction camera kit | Brinno UK | Project Kits for sale If I had power and data at the area I want to place a camera I'd probably get it.

Thanks for the link. Would you mind giving me a brief run through of your setup? For example from my reading of the above article users have to login to S4B before their launch the VDI session. Is this correct as this wouldn't be ideal as I would like devices to default straight to a VDI Session and then login to S4B.
