Hi,

Please does anyone know why when I click on 'New Email' I have noticed that the 'Send' button has moved to the top of the pane and icons have gone missing. I have looked for a solution on the web and in settings but cannot find an answer. Please does anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance.

Hi LeMarchand, exactly like that. My colleague said it just changed, whereas mine didn't. Also, the bottom greyed out. Hopefully you can see from pic.email message.docx She lost any icons she had there too. Edited by SMAS59

The icons are really faint; if her monitor isn't great or properly adjusted they may just seem to have disappeared. The "3 dots" menu allows you to customise the view.

The drop down at the end allows you to choose between "Classic" and "Simplified" ribbons.

The new look can be rolled out to different users on the same tenancy randomly. Would be nice if it was everyone all at once at times, but I've got users that are still on old style and new style.

As LeMarchand said, the bar will be there when your composing your e-mail, but will be lighter than before.

IT won't be able to switch the scheme back to the old one though as we are at the whim of Microsoft

Found this thread when googling. My issue is on a new email the Send button is at the top and all of the formatting and encryption stuff is split up in the top ribbon instead of at hand with the old look. Attaches in the old junk I like - how I like it. IN another thread someone said changing to dark mode might switch it back but I've not tried on the account that has the new format yet. blah.PNG

I tried "Dark" (which I normally prefer, but seems "wrong" in Outlook) and the bar stayed at the top. I think it's there for good. If you go to the "three dots" expanded menu and "Customise" you can do some rearranging.
