Tidy or Untidy Desktop

Since replacing my PC something scary has happened. I've actualy organised my desktop, and I'm deleting stuff when I've finished with it. Is this normal?

 

To illustrate this I'll post both desktops.

 

EDIT: Actualy looking at the two desktops next to each other I have a scary feeling I'm turning into a woman.

you know your truely tidy, when you make a folder labeled "sh*t" and promptly drop everything thats on your desktop into it...

 

P.S I would suggest you change your desktop, before your testacals retreat....

I have desktop icons (mainly shortcuts placed there against my will by random program installers), but have them set to hidden. I use the Start menu and quick launch to run stuff.

two folders on my desktop -download and later

 

from their items are filed, deleted or sent.

 

No need for anything else...

I have a folder called Clearup... with a folder in there called Clearup... more Clearup and so on

 

I blame Firefox... gonna redirect downloads to another folder and let it dump all the stuff in there so I can see my wallpapers

mine is nice an clean with 3 shortcuts. My actual desk is another story i cant remember what colour it is

one nice thing about vista is that that happens automatically, all downloads go to the same place, even bit torrent.
