Has anyone had any problems with Smart Ink (Smart Notebook 17) and .Net Framework 4.7 causing Smart Ink to crash?

Looks like machine updated to .net framework 4.7 (or an update applied) last week and caused Smart Ink to crash on loading. Reverting back to .Net Framework 4.62 seems to have solved the problem.

Yes we have had the exact same problem too.

We found rolling back .Net the only fix too.

It's also killing SOLUS3 for us. Issue not present in 4.62 though

Just spoken to SMART. It is a known issue with them and they have had a few phone calls. Their advise is the same - Revert back to .Net Framework 4.62 for now.

Microsoft also released this article on how to block 4.7 installing: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4024204/how-to-temporarily-block-installation-of-the-net-framework-4-7

Ironically it also seems 4.7 breaks Microsoft Exchange Server according to this article: https://redmondmag.com/articles/2017/06/13/avoid-net-framework-4-7.aspx

We're experiencing the same error on SMART 16, but we're running .net 4.6.2? We cannot role back to anything below as we require this version for Impero to work.
