Well, it's happened. As I've been getting older I've noticed certain things have been changing in me. Can anyone help with this. I cannot run adp service because of it. Capita say it is because the "ConnectionSettings.xml" is missing from "C:\Program Files\SIMS\ADPClient\ChangeTracking" but the file is there. I'm not sure what it should contain maybe someone could paste the contents of theirs for a comparison (see contents below). This has only happened since the summer 2010 update.

i need to create hundreds of these folders
but i need so when i copy and paste
the pasted folder will be called a2, a3, a4 etc etc
as i have little time to do it in i cant go renaming hundreds and hundreds of folders
All my computers on WSUS are currently sitting in Unassigned apart from the Servers which has worked quite well - until now.
I want to control the Roll Out of XP SP3 to computers so that I can make my way arround them using WSUS without cause people any major problems because someone shuts the computer down, it starts to install and then the computer is needed for the next lesson.
The Answer I thought - create a sub group of computers!

Today we did a real world test on our Windows 7 system.
We've built a ICT Suite that is due to come on-line this September and invited 5 students to come in and try it out. I moved their accounts temporarily into the OUs we have setup for Windows 7 and moved them to the appropriate Security Groups and got them to log in. Auto switching between cassettes can not be switched off.
We have found that by setting the source to cassette 1 this stops the printer function printing on next available tray when tray of choice is empty however this does not work when the job is in progress.

I've finally got round to getting the KMS Server setup ready for when we start our Windows Deployment in a few weeks. It's a bit odd that you can setup a KMS on a Windows 2003 Server and a Windows 2008R2 server but not a Windows 2008 Server! Not if you want to activate Windows 7 Clients!!!
