hi there can anyone direct me to the PXE driver for the Atheros AR8131?
As we have RM network and trying to deploy using PXE which normal works fine. however on my new computers i get a "PCI\VEN_1969%DEV_1063&Subsys_E10001458&REV_C0 " missing driver
Motherboard is a Gigabyte - GA-G31M-ESL
and as far as i can tell its the Atheros AR8131, i've tried the Standard Vista driver but dont seem to have any luck.
Hi ive too got the same problem, our school has just purchased 25 machines with this network adapter and now the supplier wont help us.
As we also have an RM Network ive spoken to our LEA and they say the Atheros AR8131 adapter is an unsupported model for RM CC3 Networks. I found this site with "Dos Drivers" but so far have been unsuccessful Atheros Communications If you have more luck please let me know.
hi there right it is possible and im sure i managed to get it to work from one of the drivers off my motherboard CD just not sure which one i used now. but it will work and they will seemlessly build onto the network. if you give it another try and if you still have problems let me know and i'll see if i can workout which driver i used...
Right im still having a problem with the Atheros AR81x dos drivers so far i have tried then following drivers:
L1 NDIS
L2 NDIS
NDis2 v2.0.1.0
NDIS2 v1.0.0.19
ATL1c Dos Drivers from the Gigabyte Driver Disc
When i am building the machines from disk i keep getting the following error: NIC Not found! Net0109 UNLOADABLE TCP 1.0 not loaded
Link Status 100MBPS Full Duplex
Tri_94 Yeah i think thats an issue we will have because of CC3, the drivers are not available from RM maybe when the school decides to upgrade to CC4 or a vanilla network
terrorvis Thanks i will give them ago sometime next week, anything is greatly appreciated

Sorry for digging up an old thread, but just wanted to say a huge thanks to Terrorvis for uploading that NDIS driver. I have 60 new machines stacked up with this Atheros chipset that I couldn't Ghostcast until I saw this thread. Have spent hours scouring various sites trying to find one that would work.. Thanks again - really has got me out of a hole!
