Just seen that Facebook are introducing new privacy controls, much like those in Google+ where you can target posts to different groups. This is obviously a good thing, but I can't help but think it'll increase the complexity of the privacy settings again, but we'll see.

I agree, and I don't think it is all that difficult either. I have never found the privacy settings complicated to understand!

24th August 2011, 10:46 AM #5 The bigger problem is that they keep fiddling, and each fiddle opens the user (esp. the non-IT literate) to some new hole.
