Apologies if in wrong section but it seemed appropriate to ask here. We need to produce reports for Governors and these need to be available from SharePoint. At present we collate the information in a variety of .pdf files - some will be A3, some A4 and even the odd A5 one. These are independently numbered and have individual headers/footers. We need to produce a pdf that contains ALL of these pages, sequentally numbered and with a consistent header and footer. I understand from the person tasked with this that it is a long and laborious task involving several iterations through a process that involves Acrobat reader, Word, a PDF printer and screenshots. Is there a way (ideally free but not critical that it is - just don't want to spend £000's) to join a number of differently sized PDF documents, strip out the headers and footers and replace them with a sinlge one that runs throughout the final document and then do the same with the page numbers? We need the PDF files to retain their original size and orientation. I've only just been asked about this and haven't done much searching yet so if I find something I'll post it here for the benefit of anybody else that gets asked!

Maybe someone can help me here before I totally loose my rag with Moodle. Has anything changed with the way Moodle 2.2 assigns course creator permissions using ldap authentication from Moodle 1.9? I am trying to set up ldap auth to give a certain AD group course creator permissions - this has always worked for us in 1.9, but it just won't work in Moodle 2.2! I have checked and triple checked the setting, copied it from the ldap settings page in 1.9 and it still doesn't work. My group is located here CN=CourseCreators,CN=Users,DC=school,DC=local so that is what I put in the course creators setting. My users are in many sub OU's within OU=Staff,DC=school,DC=local. These settings should work - I am not going crazy for no reason am I?

I'm hoping someone can help me to help our Learning Support people. I've been asked to find a time table creation program for them to replace an old Access database that someone from the Jurassic period created. It doesn't have to be free, but free would be nice, it does have to be "easy" to use. What their definition of easy is I didn't dare ask. I asked them to try this program called FET but I'm told it is too complicated. Suggestions please? (Avoiding if possible the obvious one of RTFM for FET)

Does anybody know Rangers default username and password for the test creator module within the software? We have had a new install and dont know what it is. Help would be much appreciated Thanks

I'm looking for some software for yr7 students to create their online picture profiles from. Preferably a fun application as opposed to image manipulation in a photo editor. This is ideal: MyWebFace except it installs a crappy browser toolbar that I really don't want. Anybody have any alternates? Ideally flash based, export jpg/png is required.
