Hello, I am just learning about SCORM and I have a few DVDs that need to be transferred to SCORM format. Does anyone know how to do that?

Hello, all.. Our school has an old Exterity digital display which plays MPG format videos. It's used in our corridor areas for "welcome to the school" type things on LCD screens. (Yes, I know OneLAN is much better suited for this - we're stuck with what was bought) Previously, we've converted PowerPoint slides to videos using PowerVideoMaker. Allegedly, it's a 720x576 PAL DVD format. VLC says they're actually 720x480 - but at least the damn things play on the display unit. Now that we've moved onto Office 2016, we can export PPTX slides to MP4. I was hoping to use something FREE like Handbrake or AnyVideoConverter to change this MP4 to the same format as these generated slides. Reason being the PowerVideoMaker is sometimes a tad "fussy", requiring reboots and swearing. Can I get videos converted in Handbrake or AnyVideoConverter to play on these display units? No. No I cannot. I've looked at them in G-Spot and VideoInspector, and I can't for the life of me get a video converted with the same settings. Is there any chance some kind soul could look at the video, and give me some pointers on some FREEWARE I can use to convert an MP4 to a matching format? This is an example video that does work on the display. (Hopefully this link works - my first public file share on the Glow system Scottish schools use!!) https://glowscotland-my.sharepoint.com/:v:/g/personal/gw08sweeneygerard_glowmail_org_uk/EZs1hwmjnaBHihoel-Gv07MB_xAuKuLncMYt3rxK1wLc6A?e=ocXq9p Your browser will likely grumble that it can't play the video. Just click download. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gerard

Folks, I've just finished (well, it seems to work anyway) a little site that allows a teacher or a student to type in their timetable and get back a csv file of all their lessons for the year so they can import it into Outlook, Google calendar or whatever. It's something I end up fudging every year in Excel so I thought I'd have a proper go at it as I've been learning PHP, MySQL and Javascript. It's pretty easy to break at the moment, but if I spend too much more time on it this week I'll be in trouble with 'er indoors. If you use it, please let me know if you find any bugs or problems, and feel free to tell staff and students at your school if you think they might want to use it. The address is www.timetableconverter.site40.net Oh, and if anyone can see why the jquery corners aren't being applied to the footer div I would love to know! Cheers, Simon
