We did install it but, it wants to point it to the SIMS application directory which is not installed. I just need this program to do it’s timetabling out of the school network.

We currently have a teacher who wants to timetable students at home instead of school. Is there any way I could deploy NOVA T6 on her own system and not have SIMS installed on it? Also, what essential tips should I tell her about NOVA T6?

http://schoollibrary.co.uk/ We use them and it’s easy to use for us.

Mine took me a couple of days. Our network contains: 14 Servers 850 Computers I delegated SCCM about 8 cores and 24GB RAM and HDD is 1TB. SCCM is by far the best tool we ever used so it’s recommended.
-
I agree as well. Now deploy SIMS over SCCM.

Have you settled up your Sophos STAS correctly and does the entire school use that firewall?

Impero vs netsupport vs esafe
oododkodkdo replied to dobbyit's topic in Network and Classroom Management
Impero can be deployed cloud based or on-premises. The good is: 1: Has a MSI client installation. 2: If you unplug the network cable, the computer won’t work until it’s plugged in. 3: The support is the best and highly recommend. 4: You can deploy policies which can block staff attempting to access the entire network or to change which computers are in that group. 5: You can make your own word policy so, if a students searches that word up, it’ll close the application and you can set a punishment like, blocking their internet access for 5 mins. 6: Everything is logged and you can view it on the Impero Event Viewer. 7: You can set power policies so, the computer can wake up at a certain time or you can turn on the computer via Impero Console. 8: Easy to setup Impero Server. -
What did you use to make that diagram?

Hello all, Today, we had our Main Domain Controller fail on us and we didn’t know about this issue but then, we were flooded with support tickets with “Unable to Logon” Once we figured out the problem which was DNS, we fixed it. To prevent from this happening again, we are currently thinking about a program which can monitor our servers and our VMs’. Imagine in our IT support room, there was a vertical monitor which would show our server status and memory allocation.

Use password and they will need to change it before they login. If you are in a Primary School and pupils can’t spell “password”, just leave it blank and once again, they’ll need to change it before they login.

Maybe it’s specification or what type of cat wire do you use. Refresh the systems on SCCM or MDT and see if that makes a difference.

Have you got it working with Sophos Central? If so, install the client then, go to the console page on Sophos Central and you can go to app control and block Skype out.

No problem and also, Windows 10 always seems to have issues with WDS even the new versions and took me setting up a WDS Image about a couple of days as well so, I ended up capturing Windows 8.1 Enterprise.

We have servers on site. How do we get it working with Azure app proxy? We might use Azure MFA but, we have no idea how to get it working with our servers on site. -

How many virtual machines do you use on RDS for client use? We are a school of 900 and 150 staff and we need to make sure that vms are available. I plan on giving the teacher systems 6GB RAM and students 4GB RAM. And also, is it dangerous to open rdweb to the internet?
