We’re trialling the use of Printix acting as a back-end to Papercut MF which so far is working really well. We were using Universal Print with MF previously (the less said about that the better)!

Cashless catering solution? We’re waiting for Capita to release their cloud solution for secondary schools (next Easter)?

Are your app issues occurring in the device or user phase? We disabled the user phase in Autopilot which helped a lot.

We had our invite several weeks ago along with the usual webinar session. We were told that the audit/application documentation would be with us in the following week - nothing yet.

We're moving to LGfL/Trustnet over Half-Term and are required to change our IP ranges to fit into their infrastructure. OK, I thought - what about the cashless catering? We'd upgraded (for want of a better word) to Civica over the summer - shiny new server VM and new tills running W10. Not a problem I thought, I can change the static IP of the server and Civica can tell me how to access the tills and change their IPs too. Might be some other bits and pieces to do, but they can email me the procedure. Well, no actually - they will need to send an engineer out. That'll be £1050 please while we have you over a barrel. I'm getting sick of large organizations squeezing every possible penny out of the Education sector. What do we pay support & maintenance for if not for these sorts of requests? Anyone else with some good extortion stories to tell? Doesn't have to be Civica - lots of candidates out there!

Could I add to the cheeky requests and ask for a copy as well?

We ordered them for out MAT allocation (less routers than laptops?), but our LA allocation haven't come with any.

It's a shame that they've provided laptops designed to work with cloud based apps, but no Wi-Fi routers to enable access to the internet!

So we have just received a load of laptops from the LA, which is great, but we want to install the desktop version of Office 365, for which we need the Admin password. The DfE won't give it to me as i'm not the Technical contact, ut won't tell me who the Technical contact is! I'm assuming it's someone at our LA, but no clue who it might be! Has anyone hit the same issue? And has anyone been able to track down their Tech contact? Cheers

How are people dealing with the Unity Editor Update Check coming up? According to the documentation it can't be disabled, but I don't want Students trying to install a new version! I know you can untoggle the 'Check for Updates' button, but I don't fancy doing that on several hundred PCs!
