  1. Having a similar issue, has anyone been able to figure this?
  2. Adding there spf record in etc allows you to spoof emails from anyone in your org using there platform. They need to support proper email authentication not fundamentally spoofing there customers.
  3. Web Ui is okay, its email security is a real shame. We had to register an entirely seperate domain for it.
  4. Barracuda +1
  5. Support over 20 of the Eaton 5PX range, would reccomend.
  6. Are you blocking QUIC on firewall? and ECH catergory on filter?
  7. Just run the standalone version on os of each hyper-v server? what we do and it just works? doesnt need overcomplicating with a VM when on Hyper-V imo.
  8. Best place for them
  9. Cisco Catalyst, Nexus & UniFi all replaced with Cisco Meraki now. Final school on Aruba to do soon I hope!
  10. Just remmber when you change the password which you can just do through aduc to leave it 24 hours before doing the next change. (Two changes are needed to expire all existing tokens)
  11. MF used centrally for all our schools in the trust. Rarely have to look at it. Just works. Would have to question the implementation of it if your having constant issues.
  12. We’ve gone through all sorts of issues recently with another platform and sendgrid, its a real crap way to handle emails securely.. Could you send us your dmarc record please? particularly interested to know if your configuring adkim or apsf tags?
  13. Pickup the entire vm folder, import with same guid, perfectly doable with DCs or any VM for that matter
  14. I would recommend Halo ITSM also, I know other Mats use it. Powerful platform.
  15. You certainly can ipaddress/24 etc..
  16. Radius client will be the subnet the APs are in.
  17. Support recommended more RAM, it's not a RAM issue, it's the time the report is taking to run specifically the "Full School Summary Report" It takes over 10 minutes here, if it was below 5 the proxy wouldn't time out.
  18. Did you get anywhere with this? having this issue currently.
  19. Also seen this with smoothwall, some various pages erroring even after bypass. Has anyone reported it to them?
  20. What were the clear commands you ran? "reset configuration factory" ? By not function after the factory reset what do you mean? non responsive admin ui? errors? Edit: oh I'm lost, the OP wasn't the responder? same person or?
  21. https://techslaves.org/2017/02/25/hpe-msa2040-password-recovery-factory-reset/
  22. what kind of interface have you created? if port 3 is just a regular untagged port not being used for anything else you should add the ip address onto port3 interface not add an interface on top of it?
  23. If you go into each setting and click the explain tab it usually tells you what the default is.
  24. Whilst i’ve done this endless times on a traditional hyper-v cluster, not s2d so take this advice with a pinch of salt I’d personally do it via failover cluster manager; pause a node let all VMs drain which you can watch in vm/hyper-v view ensure the node is “paused” effectively then your running on how ever many nodes you have left. At that stage you should feel comfortable enough that a that remaining nodes can run the your environment. If you wanted to you could then power down the host and go as far as pulling the power out (imo not needed) Once ready power the node up and give it a few minutes, then run “get-storagejob” in powershell to check the storage sync is good (which does run even on paused nodes to my knowledge) then resume the node in the node view in failover cluster manager. If your using Windows Admin Center advice is similar but a little different. your powershell is fine, pro with GUI method is you get to see it doing stuff, vms moving, storage moving etc.
  25. I would like to see Tom talk about smoothwall roadmaps? I haven't seen a roadmap on your website. Something like this would be really cool and worth while. https://usehalo.com/haloitsm/roadmap/ Im a frequent checker of the release notes page, but I think a roadmap would really help your customers to know whats coming in the future, which all us nerds in IT love...
