I might be able to help you out, what exactly are you looking for? Do you just want documentation you can point the staff towards or are you after a plan to train them (in a classroom) with supporting documents?

We don't run CCNA course on a public schedule I'm afraid. We can deliver the course(s) as a closed solution, but there would need to be 3 or 4 people to make it cost effective, or 6-10 to make it quite frankly cheap. There is a grant you can use against this training which helps. You could easily run this from a school/academy and invite others on the course. Hope that helps.

wow you have a lot of stuff to shift!!! There is also a great Facebook group and you'd shift them in no time. Do any of you play Warmahordes i'm looking for midlands opponents.....and struggling. I'd like to run some steamroller events, but need to get enough interested folks together. I just finished painting 2 lots of 35pts armies for trolls and am working up to 50pts as well as working on a new cryx force: I have 10 gaming tables and a free place to game from so just need gamers to play against!

Yeah warmahordes is an interesting one. It can get quite serious at events and I agree they could do with working on some of the beasts.....I painted some trolls up a while ago and they came out ok. Anyone play any non GW games? I went off GW and the bigger model count games and have been playing some brilliant skirmish games over the past few years.

The government released a pot of money (12 million) to subsidise training for IT Technical skills in England. So in the case above (and I can only go on what we would charge for training) - A 5 day SCCM course (Schools Price £1000 + Vat), could be applied for and the school would receive £500 back on completion of the training. I know its sounds like a "you cant get something for nothing" scenario, but if you search my posts you will see a few edugeekers that have applied for it successfully. The other good thing, unlike a lot of grants I have seen, is that you aren't limited to one application. This lets you apply for multiple courses across multiple technicians at the school and each course will get part matched funding. You apply prior to delivery so you know you have the grant before booking the courses. If you want me to send you over the link to the grant just drop me a PM.

If you are going to get some training make sure you use the grant that's available at the moment. You should be able to get a full 5 day SCCM Config course for about £500.

Steve what were you doing down the pub and where was my invite As Steve mentioned we are now located here: County House, St Mary's St, Worcester. WR11HB. The grant mentioned above will give you a 50% discount (once the course has been sat and the money paid back to the school). This effectively gives you a £50 day rate on WS2012 courses and for something like an SCCM course, a rate of £100 a day.

From personal experience of handling training logistics for organisations (educational and commercial) setting up the training will be more a nightmare for you than delivering it. Could you, along with a number of key teaching staff, come up with something? Perhaps work with a 3rd party, if needed, to come up with something you deliver in twilight sessions? The issue will be making the training relevant to the staff at your school, that and teachers are always a demanding bunch to teach I'd advise if you go it alone you get some sort of sign off from the powers that be to make the training mandatory

Most of those subjects would be multiple days worth of training. There is a group of schools in Chester getting 4 days worth of WS2012- Admin, Active directory, Group policy training in the half term if that's of interest, I can pass you over the details?

Just had this through: "The organisation needs to be registered in England. They can have members of staff who work in a Wales office, who can do the training though. The training also has to be delivered in England." He has gone off now to try and find out if there is an equivalent in Wales......sorry for the bad news
