We have our HTTPS Inspection Certificate installed on our Chromebooks via the Google Admin Console. This works well for when our users log in. Occasionally we have students and staff come from other schools and they want to log in with their own Google Workspace logins but on our Chromebooks. We find that the HTTPS Inspection Certificate doesnt get deployed when they log in with their own accounts. On speaking to Google Support it seems that the Certificate deployment is user based even though in the Console you tick to deploy it to Chromebooks. Does anyone know how to get around this issue other than manually installing for every user that comes on site that wants to use our Chromebooks with their own Google Workspace accounts?

I am aware of vault and email log search but I wanted to create an alert, if say more than 10 emails were deleted in succession.

Is there a way to use the Investigation tool to check for email deletions but limited to a particular OU rather than the entire domain?

I raised a ticket with smoothwall but the answer I got back was to create a custom category with the domain name in it and then create a do not inspect policy on it. I dont really want to have to do that with every single domain that is using sendgrid that we get emails from with links!

I tried entering that pattern in the URL pattern section of a new category in Smoothwall substituting the domain name for one we received the email from but the validation failed.

Anyone with a Smoothall box able to let me know how to do this please?

I have raised a ticket with Smoothwall but I thought I would ask on here too. Recently more and more links in emails that are genuine begin with "url****.sitename.com". **** is always a 4 digit number. Smoothwall is blocking these with "The server's certificate did not match the domain name" Is there an easy way to deal with these in Smoothwall?

@timbo343 To see if Google Workspace thinks if a user has a weak password in Google admin Console you can go to Reporting>User Reports>Security. Here you can see which users have strong passwords and which have weak. You can also download this report.

Aaand it’s down again!!!! @JohnJackson - any kind of notification on the support site letting us know you are aware would help. I have to say this is very unlike LGfL as we have always had a rock solid connection in the past.

Since yesterday we have had issues with internet access with LGfL. Yesterday it was very slow and the reason given by LGfL was that many more schools than normal were streaming video and media rich content for the end of term! Today we have had patchy access for the last 45 minutes.

Staff here have used Google Authenticator with MS without issue.

Hi Paddy - Do you mean Salamander can register with LGfL and then they get allocated an account with MFA? I was told by support that each of their techs that needs to connect would need an account.

Did you have to submit a MIP to LGfL for them to be able to use their built-in tools?

I take it you are at an LGfL school? Did you have to create USO accounts for the Salamander Technicians to give them remote access? IF so how many accounts did you create and were they named. PM a response if it helps. Thanks

Are there any LGfL schools that also utilise Salamander? If so how do you provide Salamander with Remote access to the Salamander Integration Suite server?

How do you figure out how many simultaneous calls you need? We are hosted by another company and we are on 64SC. I do wonder if that is too high, we have 321 extensions over 3 sites but the company cannot provide me with any statistics on what the highest number of SC's we have ever used.
