This is how we currently do it, if you find your chromebooks aren't compatible with the Google Play store an alternative could be to use the URL https://codejr.org/scratchjr/index.html

I did thank you, I installed the stand-alone firmware added in the ZD IP through the CLI and it worked a treat!

Remote Desktop Services error message when new cert applied
Nblakey96 replied to Nblakey96's topic in Windows Server 2016
Yeah I managed to get this resolved eventually, I was only facing the issues on the HTML 5 version. Is yours working on the non-HTML5 version? Here are the steps that I followed: Get-RDWebClientBrokerCert Shows the OLD certificate thumbprint, running this command (replacing the certificate with the exported BASE64 from MMC/Certificate) Import-RDWebClientBrokerCert C:\temp\mycert.cer And then just running this command for good measure Publish-RDWebClientPackage -Type Production -Latest and clearing every browser cache. The HTML5 client began to work. - - - Updated - - - Another thing I did notice too was that it did not begin to work until the old cert had expired. Once I had deleted the old cert it then worked. -

Evening all, I've spend the day applying the new SSL wildcard to the servers, it has worked fine on the WAP and AD FS server however it is not allowing users to open up a connection. If I go to the RDS portal I can see the new cert, however after authenticating credentials and attempting to to open the session I get the error message "Your session ended because an unexpected server authentication certificate was received from the remote PC. Ask your admin or tech support for help."Has anyone had this in the past? If so how did you resolve it? I applied the cert using server manager and I can see the cert listed in IIS.Much appreciated

Hi All, I`m just about to push this out (I plan on deploying the .msi installer out via SCCM to each device) however I need to disable spellchecker prior to the exams, I believe this is done by editing the ExamWritePadSettings.json configuration file. Can anyone recommend a free application to extract and re-build the msi before I push it out. Or does anyone have a simpler way to push this out? Thank you

Much appreciated thank you, do you find them to be cost effective over outsourcing A1/A2 print jobs?

Hi everyone, We are looking to purchase an A1 printer as a whole school resource for printing posters etc. Has anyone recently purchased one that they can recommend? Ideally looking for something with low maintenance that does good quality images, I have been given a budget of <£2000 including a stand and warranty. I have spoken to some resellers who have recommended the Epson SureColor SC-T3100 240V which they estimated cost per copys 15-30p (seems rather cheap if you ask me) Have a good weekend everyone

To be honest our experience with Civica isn`t too bad although we rarely contact support. How have you found Cunninghams?

Evening All, My Secondary school are looking to upgrade their current Civica till system. I have arranged demos with Cunninghams and Biostore. Are there any other Cashless Catering providers that you would recommend? Also, is anybody a current Cunninghams customer? I have only used them once before in a previous role (8+ years ago) and their support was awful. Ideally, I need something with a good product and support which works with ParentPay Thank you!

Just wondering, did you manage to get this working? Did you have to give staff access to the app data folder? -
Would you be able to share the Robocopy command you used to get this to work? Currently looking at this now and would like to avoid using Appdata if possible

Hi all,Currently looking at Activinspire alternatives, just wondering which software other people have opted for in this situation? Ideally looking for software that can can either open the Flipcarts or IWB files if anyone can recommend a free/low cost solution?

were using Lumens DC125 I believe, not had any issues and really good quality

I`d be interested to see how people deal with this too, we`ve tried using a Dymo and printing our own labels, both of these only last a couple of days before being peeled off.Have you tried using a Sharpie, it seems to come off pretty easily with an antibacterial hand gel.

Thank you, i`ve had a scroll through any on there are from the US and China.

I had a look at this one earlier, only disadvantage is that its coming from China and we could do with it ASAP, I`ve found that Upgrade have some used ones available but they are nearly 10x the price of this.

Hi, I was just wondering if you had any Desktops/Laptops remaining. I could collect them ASAP, I am a technician at New Bridge Group, Oldham. I`ve spoken to my Line Manager and he`s talking to the Head of site at the min. Ideally were after a couple of pc`s that we could use windows 10 encryption as a lot of our stock is beyond compatibility. Thanks Nathan
