  1. Ardingly College have a new and exciting role for a highly motivated IT Professional to join their busy IT team as an IT Helpdesk Coordinator. The post-holder will provide and oversee a comprehensive and effective customer support service within the organisation, with a focus on the support of teaching and learning using Microsoft on-premises systems and cloud applications and Microsoft Surface devices. In addition to this, the role will support management, planning, installation and maintenance of the ICT network infrastructure and ensuring that access is provided to these resources. The successful candidate is likely to have an active interest in the world of Information and Communications Technology as well as an interest and some knowledge of audio and visual equipment and theatre production. They should be educated to A Level, hold relevant professional qualifications and have experience of both user support in IT and IT networks in a large organisation. A flexible approach to both workloads and working hours is vital, as the post-holder will be expected to be present during some productions and other evening and/or weekend events. A pleasant helpful manner is essential, as is the ability to work under pressure during busy times throughout the academic year. The individual needs to be highly organised and enjoy working with and assisting pupils in the technical areas of the school. There will also be a requirement to set up IT and audio-visual equipment for functions organised as part of the Easter and Summer schools. This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week (including a 30-minute paid lunch break), usually Monday to Friday, for 52 weeks per year. The hours of work are 8 hours per day, which are to be worked flexibly to meet the requirements of the College, including occasional evening and weekend work.   2. Performing Arts Technician £18,000 - £19,000 Haywards Heath, West Sussex Full-time Ardingly College are seeking to recruit an experienced and knowledgeable Performing Arts Technician. The role will involve coordinating and maintaining all Drama and Music spaces, ensuring that all technical requirements are fulfilled. The post holder will be responsible for the coordinating and managing of all Performing Arts events set up across the College. We are looking for candidates who have technical Performing Arts experience, and an active interest in all aspects of audio visual, lighting and sound equipment use. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational, communication and time management skills. Strong technical competence and the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the role are essential. The hours are 40 hours per week, for 40 weeks per year (term time only, plus an additional six weeks).   3. £18,200 dependent on experience and qualifications Full-time, 40 hours per week We currently have a vacancy for an Events and Audio Visual (AV) Technician to be responsible for providing a robust and reliable technical support service for Events and AV across the whole College. The key purpose will be to: promote the use of AV and provide technical support to all users across the College campus and at events; set up, operate and maintain all IT and AV equipment; help the Venue Technician in setting up and operating theatre equipment, audience/performance staging, and managing and coordinating lighting and sound for productions, lessons and school events. To be successful, you will: be educated to at least GCSE Level standard; have an active interest, knowledge and experience in AV; be highly organised, with the ability to work well under pressure, have good interpersonal and communication skills and be prepared to work flexibly. Senior Information Systems Developer £13,362 per annum pro rata (FTE £30,300) Part-time, 32 hours per week Haywards Heath, RH17 6SQ We are seeking to appoint a Senior Information Systems Developer to develop and maintain the security, functionality and integrity of all the College information systems, including PASS and iSAMS. The Senior Information Systems Developer will support the day-to-day running, integration and development of College information systems and optimise efficiencies in response to technological advances and the needs of the College. To be the successful candidate, you will have experience in the management of databases, with the skills to develop and maintain reporting software, and be educated to at least A level standard. Attention to detail, highly developed communication and organisational skills and a willingness to engage in regular training to develop knowledge and understanding in all areas of personal data information are essential. Knowledge of GDPR, a relevant IT degree or qualifications and previous experience in project management would also be desirable.
