We've come across this recently, but no resolution found just yet. We manage our macs using Mosyle, and I've tried a handful of different custom commands to try and use symlinks but had no success. We've placed our sound library in the exact same location (User/Shared) and users can select it manually, but we'd much rather they didnt have to! Our devices only have 256gb storage, so these 7GB library bundle files created per user really aren't helping us 😕

Just to revive this thread - we've had success by creating an applocker rule to allow MS Webview2 to run, heres the path: %PROGRAMFILES%\MICROSOFT\EDGEWEBVIEW\APPLICATION\*\MSEDGEWEBVIEW2.EXE Once this was allowed the redirect works to Chrome perfectly fine.

Rather than a cold spare, IMO it may be worth considering installing a second WAN switch and setting it up to use link aggregation, so in the case of failure you're not having to run up to the server room and plug the new switch in, and also make sure it has the most up to date backup on it etc.

Hello fellow edugeeks! I've been tasked with deploying vscode to one of our IT suites so it can be used with Python; the deployment itself has been fine, but I'm running into issues when it comes to executing code. When I try to run a python file in VSCode, it comes up with an error as its being prevented by a software restriction policy. Upon checking event viewer, its trying to open Powershell (?) - for various reasons I'm not allowing students access to powershell. Is there any way that this can be changed so that it runs either in a built-in terminal or via. the python app? Thanks! F_Admin

I'd recommend Mailgun Send - pricy if you include mailgun optimise, and it does mean you have to enter the world of email reputation etc. but id say its worth it. https://mailgun.com/products/send/

I honestly despise F360 - we've not had it work for months since they moved to their browser sign-in method. I'm yet to solve it - but I think in our case it has something to do with the default app tool we use not working. Are these the domains we need to whitelist? Hello! We're experiencing an odd issue with our Clevertouch M Series boards; and I pondered if anyone else is experiencing similar? When we use the Clevertouch MDM and use the 'Remote' tool (to access the boards from our devices) we can see the android UI (and the small menu that is an overlay on the HDMI input) but not the content from the HDMI (i.e. duplicated screen from our PCs) We've tried firmware updates, MDM updates (all provided by Clevertouch) but no dice; if anyones experience/resolved similar, please let me know! Good point, that would be the easiest way to get it sorted to be fair - At the moment I believe ours are on different subnets (and definitely different VLANs) but hopefully can allow them to communicate with eachother for this purpose.

Sorry to revive this thread - currently looking at Clevershare as an option for some students who require access to the boards via. iPads, but only to view and not to edit the content on the clevertouch board. @Norphy did you get this working in the end across subnets & VLANs?

We're experiencing exactly the same issue here. Updated to the latest version of F360 the other day, and ever since we've been experiencing this. I was attempting to uninstall F360 (we use PDQ Deploy here) but it's not even uninstalling properly. This software is a real PITA.

In my previous workplace (a secondary) we had this exact setup (Smoothwall with Virgin Media ISP) and whilst it was not as often as your outages, we had issues with the internet dropping out also. Each time there was a different reason (according to Virgin Media) sometimes referencing issues in the exchange, others included issues with their device connected to our core switch Unfortunately I don't have much in the way of a resolution - but if Smoothwall suggest there's no issue on their device I'd be more inclined to believe them compared to Virgin Media.

Why do you need them to login? Couldn't they just email a helpdesk address which creates tickets for them? Thats how we have it setup here I believe. Might save you the hassle of getting the SSO sorted for non-IT users.

Get-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online | Out-GridView -PassThru | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online It isn't behaving as it should though; it isn't removing apps for all users on the VM, as I'm getting the below error: "Error SYSPRP Package Microsoft.GetHelp_10.1706.13331.0_... was installed for a user, but not provisioned for all users. This package will not function properly in the sysprep image."
