Hi you need to raise the domain functional level to at least 2008 which will make your 2003 DCs non functional, in fact if you try to raise the level it wont let you because of the 2003 DCs. So unfortunately you would have to make sure that all your DCs are 2008. To implement fine grained password policies are really fiddly but there is a nice tool that you can get which will make the process a lot easier.

Hi all, i am considering going for a cost per copy solution. I have been working with a company who will supply us with Gell printers which give an excellent quality print. The charges after you have purchased the printer are in the region of 0.05p per black print and 4p per colour print. Phil

Feedback on SynchronEyes by SMART
phillipmillward replied to jumpinjamez's topic in Educational Software
in my opinion i think that SynchronEyes is very expensive what what it does. If you want a cheaper alternative look at AB Tutor. This alternative costs £100 per room. AB Tutor Control you can download a 30 day demo and the best of if it is its so easy to install. All you do is drop the MSI into Active Directory and hey presto its done. Have fun. I know i did seeing the look on the kids faces. -
I had 15 installed over the summer holidays. They are a wonderful idea and got us out of problems with nothing above the celing to hang the projector off and also asbestos tiles. if anyone wants to come and see the install you are quite welcome to and also you are quite welcome to give me a call.
