Hi Guys, please help me on this, we are upgrading our PCS to win 7 x64. now we need to install SIMS on 66 client pcs. i have not done sims installations before. please help me on the steps how to install, where to get the installation files. is there any easy way of deployment. We have Sims server on 2008 server. all your help much appreciated. CApita help desk is not helpful at all.

WE use ITQ with safecom print management solution. works well here. i think its charged per print. users log in with their id cards to pull the prints. Prints queues are stored up to 24 hours and get deleted after that.

Hi Guys, During the Half term couple of the network cables been cut by the onsite building constructors. but they but a joint box anf sixed the problem. after this two class toom pcs not getting the Dynamic IP from the DHCP. when i dis check the ipconfig / all it shows Nod type as Paired. but rest of the computers in school shows as Hybrid, What are these. what is Paired or hybrid. is this caused the problem?

We were similar to your situation before. fortunately Council expanding our school but still needed to Get rid of ICT Suite. But we fought to keep it. Every class time tables to use the suite 1day a week also ICT clubs, Lunch time club etc taken place. We have 4 laptop trolleys but the problem is our wireless. It cannot handle the laptops so they are not wisely used. Currently looking in to a wireless solution / Multipoint server. ok my best advise is to save the suite, may be ICT direct can help. if you going for laptops / notebooks you have to have a strong wireless infrastructure.
