There hasn't been a problem.....parents seem very happy to use a social media site to sign up with...no complaints so far. The main issue is the information that they see.......but that's a SIMS logging issue!

Hi all, A quick question.... Can we use Google Classroom with our students (11-16 school) without specific parental consent (under new GDPR guidelines?) I cannot seem to get a straight answer anywhere...what else do you currently do...or are planning to do in your school with GDPR?? Thanks in advance

A little late to the party but......either I'm missing something or this info is not fully correct. When I right click in the register to add a behaviour the activity type drop down box does not get filled in.....I WANT and NEED it to be filled in as it is this box that the parent app uses to display the subject!

I've stumbled across a problem with behaviour and achievement logging....linked to the parent app. Firstly....the parent app is OK. We have launched to Year 7 parents and the feedback is good. However, there seems to be a problem with displaying full achievement and behaviour information in the app. The app draws out information from an achievement and behaviour log for the parents to see. However, unless the member of staff modifies the activity (subject) and also enters their name in the 'actioned by' box....the parent app only displays the achievement or behaviour....not the subject and member of staff. If this is the case then this is rubbish! SIMS knows who the member of staff is (as they have logged into SIMS).....and if you are completing an achievement or behaviour log from the register then it also knows the subject! So why does this need completing again? Is there any way of completing these two drop down menus by default? This COMPLETELY defeats the object of using rick click on the register and quickly logging a behaviour or achievement....staff think this feature is great. But now I'm telling them that they have to go fully into the achievement or behaviour menu to complete the log. Am I correct in this? Any feedback / help would be greatly appeciated

Hi...yes it is. In intouch under contacts there is a user defined option to click on (it'#s a drop down box) To set up user defined groups.....go to FOCUS / USER DEFINED GROUPS...from here ou can set up a new user defined group Hope this helps

This doesn' work......the report 'deletes', but when you go back into reports the report has re-appeared. As an admin user, I can view all reports that have been created through the file tree of open reports, however, when i try t delete a report, and then confirm that I do want to delete it it tells me that it is a scheduled report and so cannot be deleted..... They are not scheduled.but HAVE been scheduled reports in the past. How do I solve this? Any advice greatfully received

Hi all, I am having some problems deleting reports that I have marked as private....I am also unable to remove them from my favourites. How can I do this? It is driving me mad..... Thanks!

I have found scehduled problematic....you have to schedukle a report to an individual...you cannot schedule a report to mutiple people at the same time. Why not get key staff to drop the report into favourites within the report structure...then they can access the report from their favourites tile on the homepage.
