Ive sorted this now. As my login is an admin, it bypasses the Office 365 login.

Hi Ive followed this guide https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/saas-apps/google-apps-tutorial to setup Single Sign on between gsuite and O365 so that users can login using their office 365 credentials but the G Suite login page doesn't redirect the user to the office 365 login page and just stays on the google login page. Im made sure the user has been assigned to the G Suite app in Azure and all the details are correct according to the guide. Am i missing something? Thanks

Yeah it’s really annoying. Azure AD sync captures the password change fine, just not Google Cloud Password Sync. Kind of defeats the point now of having iamcloud Surpass SSPR.
-
Hi We use the Surpass SSPR tool from iamcloud so users can reset their AD passwords which works finehowever it wont then sync the password to Gsuite. It will sync if i reset the users password manually in AD or via a windows computer. Does anyone else have this issue? Thanks

Worked a treat, thanks. Just out of interest, does google classroom need Google Drive to work? We also use Onedrive so im trying not to have docs store in google drive as well. Thanks
-
Ahh Found it. So as all the users currently in G-Suite have the change password enabled, whats the best way of changing this?
-
Hi I have setup the sync of users and passwords from AD to G suite however when students login for the first time, its asking them to change their password which i dont want as they should be sync'd with AD. How can i disable this? Thanks

Cool, Thanks

We have some dfe laptops that were meant for year 10 students and i want to know if they are meant for home use only or if they can be used in school instead? I wasn't sure if there were any stipulations set by the Dfe that they were for home use by year 10 students only or if we could re-purpose them. Thanks

Hi Im getting this error in Windows update on all clients: Configuration Manager Client (5.00.8913.1032) - Error 0x80d05001 The SCCM server was update earlier in the year but i dont know how to resolve this error so that all clients can be updated Thanks

I have just set an an application to uninstall but when going to the monitoring work space and viewing the application the status reads as 0% is that correct? The application has uninstalled but i would have thought it would show as 100% for compliance? Thanks
-
Thanks that's really helpful. It really is steep learning curve but hopefully it will be worth it. In terms of software deployment, if i have already deployed a package and i then need to uninstall it to install a newer version (in our case Clicker 6 to Clicker 8) whats the best way of doing this? Would i change the current package install parameters to uninstall and then create the new package? How would i order it so that it uninstalls the clicker 6 first and then install the new version?

Hi I’m really new to SCCM and I want to what the best way is to view the installation status of a particular software package on the stations it’s deployed to? Also how do I check the AV status of all the machines? Is there a view that displays this or do I need to run a report? Just trying to get my head around the whole of SCCM! Thanks

I’ve sorted this now. Thanks.

Hi. I've setup G-Suite sync for AD and G-suite is importing the Users, groups and OUs however the users aren't mapping to the correct OUs and only appear under the root OU. Is there something else i need to configure in the sync client on the DC? Thanks
-
Thanks, thats good to know. Just out of interest, what do you use Power Automate, Power Apps and Power BI for in regards to the Assets? I'm kind of clueless when it comes to these apps!
-
We liked the fact we could consolidate a lot of systems/processes into to one system and we were also looking at Parago for IT, Facilities and risk management.
-
We maybe going to Every for compliance, asset, risk/policy management and helpdesk. Your honesty opinions would be welcome

I got this working in the end and it seems it just needed time after changing the MDM authority. After the machine joins to the domain and then azure AD, how can I get the clients to auto enrolment in Intune? I read somewhere that this can be done via group policy so is that correct?
-
It doesn’t show any failures or and status but will try creating a group and assign that to the deployment. There wouldn’t be any conflict as machine is on a domain would there? The Microsoft support guy seemed to think this was the reason
-
Yes. I’ve set it to deploy to all devices and also tried another msi to deploy to all user but it’s not even listed on the software portal for the user. As I mentioned before I don’t know if there is anything else I need to setup such as the Intune connector software on the DC or something else needs setting up in Intune. The test client appears enrolled inIntune okay
-
Im currently testing the trial of Intune and and im having issues when trying to deploy applications. I have clients that are already joined to AD and azure AD joined (Azure AD connect joins the client to azure AD) and i have enrolled a couple of clients but is there anything else i need to to? My clients are Win10 1803 but i was wondering if also need to install the Intune connector on the domain controller? I have not idea what other steps i need to take so that the test clients can get software and settings etc from Intune. The office 365 MDM authority states "Microsoft Intune" Thanks
-
Yeah I get that. I think they were complaining about the Activity Feed as well which I kind of get is pointless and would be worth hiding if possible but I don’t think it is?
-
I thought you could hide it using one of the setup policies however if i remove Chat, guess what.... it doesn't work.
-
Dont worry, i found how to hide the Chat button.
