37 hours per week, Full year NYB08 - £20,456-£22,434 King James's School is seeking to appoint a Senior ICT Technician with graphical and/or basic web skills on a permanent basis. You will be joining the School’s highly committed and supportive ICT team and work directly with the Senior Network Manager. The successful candidate will have the ability to work flexibly, have an impressive talent for multi-tasking and a focus for problem solving. You will be able to assist in the smooth running of ICT systems within the School by undertaking a number of key responsibilities such as; monitoring and maintaining the School’s ICT systems, providing technical advice and support to staff and pupils, along with assisting in the enhancement of our digital learning strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong and in-depth technical understanding of ICT systems, servers and network infrastructure. Experience of Apple products would be an advantage. Ideally you will have worked in a Hyper-V environment and will also be familiar with Microsoft Office 365 and HP Switch management. An industry recognised qualification from Microsoft, CompTIA or Cisco would be advantageous although qualifications from other relevant vendors would be considered.
