i bought 50 Hyperx savage 240GB drives from bt business these are fairly cheap BT Business Direct - Kingston 60GB SSDNow V300 SATA3 2.5" 7MM solid state drive (SV300S37A/60G) for £25 website price speak to an account manager and knock the price down

ok had a quick google for you open the GPO for that user open user configuration > policies > administrative templates > Start Menu & task bar > and enable Remove common program groups from start menu..... this also covers what you need give it a try

sounds like an issue i had a few years ago it was because in AD you still have a profile path for the students. so its combining both profile and redirected desktop

I have been trialing veeam endpoint backup (Free) on my physical Dc's seems to work really well. Been left with a 2tb nas to backup to since im up scaling the storage on site ill be getting a decent qnap nas. had 3 at my old school. Seems to be working well so far just wish the compression was better like in backup and replication but meh its free
