we have a member of staff who has left us and has requested a copy of there school email be imported in to their personal outlook.com account. am i right in thinking this cant be done?

i give all staff full access to student docs. were primary btw the staff for the older kids drop the LO (learning objective) with resource links in to a specific folder in the kids user area all within a unit folder keeps them focused and on track.

during the new build im being split to look after this place and another 2fe with a potential partnership with another school it would be me looking after 3 schools with a bit of luck previous post i was an IT manager of the largest primary in the authority and in a past life i did your job.. while managing 18 staff. im trying to reduce stress levels while my kids are young

460 kids 55 staff in my main school at the moment i do a lot of staff training. on top of prepping for 3fe with our new build been here nearly a year and saved them more than my salary by not just buying from their old support provider that was marking prices up beyond belief.... no offence

Replaced my Cisco with Ruckus the Cisco was 23k 10 aps 3 years ago my ruckus cost with 25 ap's and controller and install 9k got mine from dan @ primary technology they do all the stone installs too

I had a similar issue about 2 years ago. I think from memory might be wrong.. i think its because some folders had offline files enabled.

Not that much fun. from my point of view i'm afraid although being out and about has its perks. the downside for me was mainly not having enough time to help the school grow. 3 hours a week visit per school isn't enough and any more time was charged at £60 an hour a lot of schools wont pay that. i did my 4 years though with highs and lows

Well i have done both also My background is Primary x2 ICT Tech and NM Secondary x4 Junior Tech, Senior Tech, Assistant NM Private IT Support company looked after 10 schools LA Sims support Currently working with a primary Helping them move to 3 form. Both primary and secondary have pro's and cons but the biggest difference for me at the moment is not having a team. Sounds sad but a bit of office banter goes a long way

that's the thing you get what you pay for in this day and age. all events are emailed directly to a named member of staff for them to review instead of trawling through false negatives etc we as a school found it to be the most valued tool after trying competitor tools for a few years before i started with them
