1. I have fitted a few Hikvision systems, have you tried the iVMS 4200 Lite version of the software? It's the same UI but removes the bits you'll probably never use (Access Control, Attendance etc...)
2. Thank you - will give this a try. I've been using Wireshark and smsnif, i've added exptions into the Watchguard for the ports & IP's it's talking back to however it still refuses to connect.
3. Hi everyone Has anyone ever encountered any issues with Sage Licensing? We cannot get past the follow error: Unable to connect to the license server We have added all the recommended URLS on our WatchGuard, spent many many hours on the phone to Sage Support; no luck. Totally at a loss now! Thank you
4. You are amazing - thank you very much for your help.
5. Hi guys I am having some issues with a website redirect. Current I have the following set on the host of newdomain.org.uk: RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^.*$ http://www.olddomain.kent.sch.uk [R=301] So newdomain.org.uk redirects to olddomain.kent.sch.uk - all working fine. My issue is that I have a subdomain that I do not want to redirect. I need it so that http://newdomain.org.uk/ and http://www.newdomain.org.uk/ redirect to http://www.olddomain.kent.sch.uk but http://subdomain.newdomain.org.uk does not redirect. Would anyone be able to redirect me in the right direction, please? pun intended Thank you
6. We use These - they are the cheapest we could find and solve the problem quite nicely! Though be sure not to stick it to the battery cover which can easily be removed...
7. That makes sense - and will definitely come in handy in the future! Many thanks
8. DrayTek indeed! I think I remember seeing a thread about a recent issue/vulnerability with DrayTek routers... a quick google news search for "Draytek vulnerability" shows many recent articles with more details.
9. Thank you - brilliant idea but no luck i'm afraid. Thank you Steve - solved our issue. The scanner found the IP and it turns out this is the router for our phone PBX. Our support company installed and manages this so i'm wondering if they have made any changes without informing us! Thanks guys.
10. Hi all! For the last few weeks some of our windows 7 laptops appear to be getting a random default gateway. Our set up is as follows: Router: x.x.12.1 (managed by our ISP) DHCP & DNS server: x.x.12.10 Some clients are randomly picking up x.x.12.80 as the default gateway. Their network settings are all set to DHCP and auto. They still have internet connectivity on this address but no access to our shared drives/SIMS server. There are no entries in the DNS or DHCP for this .80 address, and NSlookup does not resolve it to anything. Any thoughts/ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
11. SupportSystem variant of OSTicket (hosted version). Can't fault it!
