  1. https://dmarcreport.com free for a single domain.
  2. User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Account Notifications Enable "Turn off account notifications in start"
  3. Have had issues with school today where it was requesting users to scan a QR code for their passkey. Only MFA device they has was the CPOMS App. Had to remove it from their account and then they had to add the Google Authenticator App. Absolute Omnishambles.
  4. They were upgrading their systems last night. Must have not gone so well
  5. Yeh, it's tricky but just point SLT to DfE filtering and monitoring standards and the need to identify individuals.
  6. Years 1-6 have their own creds, Foundation devices have individual accounts pre signed in and then have a PIN enabled. Looking to move over to QR logins in the near future.
  7. At one school over the summer went with Lenovo 500e (£250) for Foundation and Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 for Y1-6. These were £212 for 14" FHD, 8GB RAM, 128GB eMMC, Wifi 6 with updates until 2033
  8. If [email protected] is signed in and can access via un unfiltered connection sounds like a possible local filtering and/or DNS issue.
  9. It would appear that the Chrome data is redirected / and or shared across user profiles. Experienced similar issue back in the day with redirected appdata. If a user signed on to another PC they wouldn't be able to open Chrome as the profile was locked on another machine. What you have said appears to the same behaviour, with the addition of it happening across different users.
  10. Could be done with a 3rd party solution for unattended access, for example, Zoho Assist. This has a free tier that allows for 5 unattended devices. Will also SSO via your Google Workspace account. For patching and securing endpoints, Action1 is free for 100 endpoints.
  11. Filter is priced per device / Aware per user. After going through a recent renewal, look for a supplier that can offer a 'site' licence. Saved over £1000 based on the suppliers that quoted pre user/device.
  12. If the role is taking over from an MSP, RADIUS is going to be the least of your issues.
  13. Going through a Framework should be a statutory requirement for schools purchasing MFDs. The likes of YPO & ESPO can do all the legwork for you. Give them your requirements, wait 2 weeks and then viola, 5-7 easily comparable quotes. After going through the process recently now £0.0019 mono / £0.015 colour
  14. If you need to reset everyone's password, why not just tick the box change password on next logon?
  15. Only for those with Education Standard or Plus licensing.
  16. PDF Files Download Location Download Location Prompt
  17. Maybe the telcos are getting confused with PSTN switch off and Openreach Stop Sell rules https://www.openreach.co.uk/cpportal/products/the-all-ip-programme/stopsell-updates
  18. Another vote for 3CX. Have moved 3 Primaries over (soon to be 4) to fully hosted and managed instances. Handsets are Fanvil and just a RasPi SBC to worry about onsite.
  19. If they are Viglen 11C then you could try the custom coreboot firmware https://mrchromebox.tech/#devices and try and see if Flex OS runs. Still unsupported though.
  20. Well missed this on the migration guide - "The Mobility Print Extension requires Chrome version 114+"
  21. Have noticed the same behaviour on some EOL Asus C202s I have also been receiving reports of Chromebooks not being able access Mobility Print queues since the move from App to extension. After a quick investigation this morning it would seem the new extension isn't force installing on the EOL devices (v103) we have no choice but to use. Anyone else using the new mobility print extension with EOL devices able to check if they are having the same issue?
  22. Yes, fully managed service with firewall/filtering appliance.
  23. Purchased via our ISP, E2BN but the actual line provider is Giganet. 900/900 service for under £1800pa, wonderful.
  24. Stealing this!
  25. And this is why you should be purchasing copiers via a DfE approved framework.
