  1. Hi Is there any chance of having a look at the templates, please? Our network will be down for half of the summer so I won't be able to have a play with SIMS in a few weeks.
  2. Hi Our Data Manager and I love the look of those Excel templates you created. Exactly what we want to do here! We would love to trial it out our end if that's okay with you?
  3. Hi We wish to use SIMS to print off sheets for teachers which have the following information on them, to assist themwith their planning. Has anyone managed to do this (and how!)? Class profile sheets for every teacher/every group, showing: • Name • Vulnerable group membership: EAL, FSM, CLA, YC, BME, Mobile, Service • Prior Attainment Band: U/M/L • Gender • Previous levels/grades (from previous academic year) – maybe VA on there would be good too • Last year’s % attendance • KS2 Test Scores • Target for year and key stage • Medical info as necessary e.g. allergies, diabetes, asthma, colour-blindness • SEN status • a note if applicable stating ‘See SIMS’ if there is an urgent family/social/personal note Cheers
  4. This is like the last 15 minutes of "It's a Wonderful Life" - Carl's not stood on a bridge contemplating jumping in the river is he?
  5. What? With a webcam is it?
  6. I've not known any company to have customer service as good as what Carl offers. He is a class apart.
  7. Will have a good look this weekend - thanks for this!
  8. I've a load of Active Teach stuff to upload via ftp - how do you know what folder to shove it in?
  9. Sounds fascinating. Do the kids like it?
  10. Hardly anyone using any of the commercial products any more?
  11. Having gone from Fasthosts to CS Newmedia a few years ago I have nowt but praise for Carl and his team - what other webhost would respond to queries at 6am, 5pm and 8pm in the same 24 hour window? Well worth the money.
  12. Fairy nuff....I scrapped Fronter as it was cack, have set up a Moodle instead. Nice little page you have (though I'd spell 'Governors' right if I were you!)
  13. Why not just make a website and not lock it into Fronter?
  14. What's the logic in putting a website's pages within Fronter though?
  15. You can't put any kind of widgets or modules in the Fronter containers as they disable any javascript code. The only things I've managed to embed are Flash .swf files of games and things.
  16. Hi Anyone managed to find the place to add bullets in the LatestNews module css code? I want to make my module easier to read.
  17. Just to back this up - I went with CSNewmedia's Linux hosting and am vey pleased with the service so far.
  18. Pasg Hapus a Twll Tin i'r Cwin!
  19. Joomlapack worked perfectly by the way - real one-touch backup/restore facility - and with Filezilla to upload the files, you can choose to omit the uploading of big powerpoints and vids you know are okay. Ah well, at least I know how to restore the site now! Shall I dare to continue looking for mobile functionality, or shall I wait for people to demand it?
  20. LOL - cleared cookies now it's fine!
  21. Help! I backed up using joomlapack, then installed the template and plugin as shown. It then stuck on the mobile template - wouldn't get out, and I uninstalled the effing thing. Then it stayed on it - the Edugeek template isn't working any more - even though the axe_rescheek_blue is still default (and unwritable) I restored the site to the pre-install and it is still showing the mobile thing - I'm stuck with it! Please help!
  22. I'm gonna try this one out: SourceForge.net: Joomla Mobile Plugin
  23. Cheers - but does this work with Joomla 1.5?
