We are using Microsoft Teams to deliver lessons, to students isolating. This syncs with Sims.net via a Locker job. This takes about 4 hours overnight, the problem is Sims.net Cover ... At the moment it is a manual task to add, and Locker don't offer a option to do this, anyone else come across a easier way to this that in Teams Admin Centre?

Sorry to bring back a old thread, this has been working for years and tried it today and it will open then close on Windows 10 20h2. Anyone else got this to work?

This is for the DfE ones .. I went for the HP been good for us :-)

We had it anything above 50 connections users would get disconnected. Now I have 90 and copying a file get about 2MB max really. We do have a Terminal Server for Sims.net that helps with server load too.

We have got this fixed, the issue is the TLS Setting on the server - We have had over 50+ with no issues. Our 3rd party support used IISCrypto.exe to disable older SSL Protocols - https://www.nartac.com/Products/IISCrypto/ I think this will help you (look at the comments)- https://directaccess.richardhicks.com/2017/06/26/directaccess-reporting-fails-and-schannel-event-id-36871-after-disabling-tls-1-0/ we still get Event ID 36874 but no issues with DirectAccess. Before you do anything make a save state on your Hyper-V ...

The problem I have is that Locker has created Teams so have 1898 Teams ... and only 1508 users .. thanks to Alternative Provision.

Me too .. I have a call open with Microsoft and they are looking into it too ...

We are getting staff to install it them selfs (put a shortcut in redirected staff menu to Appdata) and I have noticed updates are causing issues. I have had to delete the Teams Appdata folder so many times to fix this for staff ....

We allocated the Group Polices to Group email (We have distributions lists). It seems to work... We use BTLS but are a Global Admin

All fixed turned on GDI Compatible Mode in Printing Defaults on the server.

Different users different workstations ... yeah default just follow me but it does ask...

Has one else had this ? Getting since the new Summer update, and not sure why. We do use Papercut and virtual printer queue... Thanks James

We did upgrade last night due to Exams Patch, all working well with RemoteApp for Sims.net and clients not updating via off-site via DirectAccess as expected....

I have asked BTLS and the exams officer and they are both happy it should work .... :-)

We are planning to release the Summer 2020 update on Inset day (1st Sep) and then staff that can't get in will use a RemoteApp for Sims.net... best way we can think of so far... Capita need to hurry up on a replacement for with Sims 8 !!

Would be great, if you could share this with me. Have you had any contact with Capita regarding this?
