Anyway back onto the job in hand! Have you checked you have the following mime types in IIS Chris? .cab - application/octet-stream .msp - application/octet-stream .msi - application/octet-stream .psf - application/octet-stream Also in IIS try adding a multiple port identity for port 80 as well as the existing port 8530. Obviously this is only for the website that is currently using 8530.

Chris has changed it to say IP as he doesnt want to release his IP which is fair play :-)

Have your tried running "gpupdate /Force" on the affected machines from a cmd window. You can also check which policies are applied by using "gpresult" D

Are you getting any other errors, this may be a IIS error.

He's just jumped on the band wagon thinking if he slates BP like the rest of the world is doing it will result in good publicity, my jaw dropped when I heard the president of one of the worlds super powers saying "I just want to know who ass to kick", I don't think thats the attitude a person in such a position should be flaunting publicly. I've worked on both system's and I can say from experience that I prefer working on a vanilla network. From my experience working on a RM network I found that it removed you from the cutting edge, work on a RM network for any length of time and your going to find it very difficult when you move to a different job that has a vanilla network! What im trying to say is that I think working on a RM or CSE type of network is just dumbing down your skills, because you don't have to do the regular jobs such as AD and GP which would be normal practice on a vanilla network. *hides ready for the barrage of angry replys* D

When I built my rig I had the same quandry, build a PC that is current tech for a decent price, or go all out and build a rig that will last me for a good few years, I chose the latter!

Vanialla is so much better and usually cheaper, surely with the economy as it is if RM, CSE or any other company can't provide a service at a price that is around the same as vanilla how can it be justified?

Look at SpaceMonger as well for a good GUI for seeing who is hogging the space, I may have to run it soon as Im down to my last 8TB :-/

This would be alot better than the GT 220 you mentioned before. As said above the case is personal preference, personally I have a large black boring case, but quite a few fans for good airflow. My PSU is a 1KW Corsair they rock!
