We have just got our terminal service server up and running. we are using windows server 2003 with terminal services. We have also added the web administration to the the server on IIS 6. Now heres the problem... when i connect to the website https://terminal-server:8098 from any machine i can connect to it with no problem. But when i try to use the remote desktop from the web administration on the terminal server it works no problem, but if i try to do it from a different machine then try and use remote desktop i recieve the following error. ----------VBScript:Remote Desktop Error------------- Error connecting to server: TERMINAL-SERVER. You must enable Remote Desktop on the server to use this feature ------------[ OK ]--------------

Hi we have finally got our sharepoint server working the way we want it to now, we have all the SLG stuff on it and a few other sites for us to use. But now my network manager has said that he wants to move it from the DMZ and put it in our ISA. i have no idea on how hard this will be and if it will kill off any of the sites or webparts. If anyone knows of how i can pull it inside our ISA and not kill anything off that would be great. also we have our websites inside our ISA as well, now if we move the MOSS07 inside will that affect the websites. I have also seen the ISA logon screen how can i activate that for just the MOSS 07 website, Thanks in advanced.

sounds good, but we don't have any money left in our budget at the momment and we have the concert on friday, any ideas of mac software that will just show a Sony HD Camera connected via Firewire 400 fullscreen and then let me swap to and from a video.

I have been given the task of videoing a concert that we are holding at the school, and projecting it onto a screen behind the singers. But and heres where the problem is, i want to have a live feed from the camera on the mac 'fullscreen' and i can't for the life of me find a program that will do it. Then to make the problem even worse i need the porgram to be use able with spaces as i wish to show a video between songs. does anybody know of anyway that i can do this?

okay i ran the Scheduled task and still there is nothing in the AD

okay looked on desktop and there isnt a ADP Provisioning.bat on there but in scheduled tasks i do have an ADPScheduledProcesses would that be the same?

okay i have had a look in AD and i am unable to find that user in the SLG OU, is there another way of doing it?

We have finally got our MOSS 2007 installed with a working SLG2 and i have just today went to add in another staff user but could not for the life of me remeber how to get the users logon details. i added the user by going into SIMS.net then Routines > Active Directory Provisioning > Provision Users > Staff > Add Staff this added the user no problems, only problem i have is to find the users logon details to then consolidate them with their original AD account.

How Do i get to the ADP site to get the password for a user that i added in. i added the user using SIMS.net then Routines > ADP > Provision Users > Staff > Add Staff i added the member of staff but now i need to find their password to consolidate their acount.

i am currently in the process of creating a form for our sixth forms website. I have been able to validate input boxes and drop down boxes which just consist of numbers between a range. but i am having a problem with validating a drop down which gets it options from a different php page i have: <?php include("courselist.php"); ?> i have my validation all set up ready to go, heres an example of my name input box: if someone could please help me it would be amazing!! I'm new to the mac and to applescript but have been asked to create a script to copy a file from one of our windows servers to the macs. i am trying to copy "servername\staff\support\applelogo.tif" to "/System/Library/CoreServices/SecurityAgent.app/Contents/Resources/" there is a file with that name already there and i want it to replace it with admin rights.

okay ive had a look at the pages and there permissions and found that they have no permissions and when i set them to inherit the pages then let in anyone i need to which is fine, is there a way to set mass permission as in to all sites?

no all the top level site permissions are fine as if i create the classes in the directory original they work fine its only when i copy them from a different department

its MOSS 2007 and you can create site within the sharepoint site so all the sites are on the one server im using the copy action to copy from one to the other.

I have just been asked to create a sharepoint site for the school, i have completed and now have it up and working. the only problem is, is that a lot of the sites have lost there permissions and have given everyone including 'homeowners' 'no access' i believe this could of happened when i was copying the site as we have 1031 sites and 989 of them are pretty much the same just for different departments. so i need to know how to get it to copy the permissions when i am copying the site otherwise i will have to do all of those 989 sites again one at a time. PLEASE HELP!

what i found was i had the host machine set to only accept connections from port 5920 when i was sending out on port 5900, thanks everyone

We've actually got a primary shool that we do the IT for and they've just all been given a laptop, the best thing to do is to not give the administrative rights and leave them as limited accounts, this is what we have done, and so far the only problem is that one kid put vista on the machine thinking if he didnt like it he could take it off again, NOPE HE COULDN'T

We have recently started using VNC to access the teachers machines in order to solve little problems that they might have, like program installation, and accessing network drives. But when i try to connect to one of the machines i get an error of it is really starting to annony me as i have looked evrywhere for the answer. i am currently using VNC free edition V 4.1

We've just started a Wii fit club within the school, and have just bought 15 wiis and 15 wii fits for about £192 for the console and fit, we went to the wholesaler and you get it cheaper as its a school, the webby is Koch Media phone them and set up a school account for really cheap nintendo gear!
