  1. Will definitely have to look into it! Just waiting for the gal' to start up
  2. RAM usage is actually pretty low. I'll just have to check the services.
  3. Hi guys, I need a little hand. I have a ProLiant Microserver Gen8 G1610T running WinServer 2012R2 Essentials, it's a handy piece of kit for lab and SMB/Home Server usage, but I'm having one hell of a problem with it. I always have the same services that keep stopping; W3SVC (IIS), TSGateway (RD Gateway), SQL Server Service and the Printing Service. This is quite annoying as I do rely on the first two services for AnywhereAccess, VPN and Remote desktop. I have done clean installs in the past, but to no avail. Is this something I'm doing, or is it down to a puny 2GB of RAM I have on board? Thanks, Oliver
  4. That's where I have been getting my basics from. I now have a fully working, but primitive, database. I just need a good frontend for it.
  5. I have used access before. But I wanted bragging rights 😀. Thank you for your replies, I will eventually work it out!
  6. We have signed up which was nice of them. I will have a look at this. Is it based off of C#, or is it something completely different
  7. Sorry that should be BTEC
  8. I do BBC level 3, unfortunately I have no real experience in any programming. I do networks and hardware more. I have a basic SQL database now running on a improvised server. I just need a front end. Essentially it catalogues our schools ink supply.
  9. They are untouched BIOSes, apart from the change that allows them to boot into the W7 bootloader. That's it. All Zoostorm computers we've had have done, well almost all. It is a pain in the a*se.
  10. Hey, I am currently starting out in SQL, I'm a "trainee" ICT Tech at my school, so I'm currently juggling a fair bit, bareing in mind I'm still a student. I'm starting to make a Ink Inventory SQL Database, and need some help with it, I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions to FREE tutorials, with front-end design in C#. Thanks!
  11. Ah thanks Chris, I'll look into this when I can! This looks like it will work!
  12. I thought about it, I was hoping for an internal solution, but if I can get it going it would be a start. I don't have access until at least Monday, so I will keep you updated, if anyone has any ideas though please let me know. :-)
  13. Ah, I can't actually install ESXi with it not being able to detect my hard drive for installation.
  14. Looks like what I need, however, how do I get to the shell? :/
  15. Yep I did, it was one of the first things I tried. One question I may ask on a different post is Hyper-V vs. ESXi, but I would like to get this going... There is no RAID either, just one HD. Really scratching my head. :-(
