In 2021 CMAT (Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust) is undergoing its largest every growth. 2 schools have already joined the trust this year and over the summer 5 more schools will be joining the trust this will make 23 in total. Our reputation has meant our external education ICT support business is also growing with new contracts from local schools and MAT's. To prepare for this growth we are increasing our local IT support teams and growing our core IT team. Hello, We have recently on boarded a school into our trust and its the 1st school that uses Nationwide, as part of the on-board we moved SIMS and re imaged computers. Nationwide want to charge for the reconfigure of SIMS which is fine but they also want a £115 per Trust-E install for finance clients which irks me slightly as that is 3 PC's and if image them in the future is another £115 each time! I have tried briefly myself but had little luck I must be missing a DLL or something! Does anyone know a secret way of installing it or a way around it? Thanks

So I am part of a MAT that has gone with NetSupport across the board , we are using DNA, School and Notify. We had a mix of products across our schools before like ABTutor and Impero.. We choose Netsupport not just for price but for there pre-sales support and there product development. Impero has had a bit of a bad rep in the past mainly due to reliability and the reaction to that I hear they are getting better but The Edge "issue" above is prime example of that personally... Sorry Mic_Impero Netsupport just works and the odd occasion we get a glitch the guys are on it, they also listen to us and make changes to future builds accordingly! Its very refreshing I honestly cant recommend them enough (and no im not on commission) My personal favorite feature at the minute is the safeguarding team opening up there part of the DNA console and showing parents all the names of the websites little johnny tried to get into and a video of little johnny typing is expletives into word and they having no leg to stand on! I see you are in Leicester so if you wanted to see it in action you are welcome too we are in Peterborough\Cambridgeshire - or the Netsupport HQ is not much further! +1 for NetSupport DNA here, have it across out Multi Academy Trust, safeguarding team have direct access so there is no requirement for my team to make safeguarding decisions. Plus the "report a concern" which lets you track a full history, rather than the “confide” feature in Impero which does not have anywhere near the functionality. NetSupport is just more thought about... it just works.. Happy to give you further info!!

I cannot recommend doing the above enough! As a MAT we have been looking at centralising our solution and have just moved all our school within our trust onto NetSupport. Replacing a variety of other products (AB Tutor, Impero ect). Other local schools we support have been so impressed by the product we have started rolling it out to them as well. We now have 16 schools within our database with more looking to come on board. We can now manage everything with just a few clicks! The NetSupport technical team have been amazing and helped us through the migration, I wish with the amount of impero issues we have had that I had done this ages ago! Another vote here for NetSupport.... having used impero, lan school and abtutor . Support for NetSupport is vastly superior! I have never had to trawl through horrible threads about Network performance since moving either.... *shudders* Maybe Contact them, they will happily give you a trial and not sell you a free grandma!

Just had a price from MLS to upgrade our old Eclipse system that I have had to bodge to work with a modern OS and it is a little steep. Anyone got any alternative suggestions, its only a small library and I don't need all the whiz features!

Bit of a strange one, setup a new helpdesk system on OS Ticket for my school, setup three departments using existing emails, one pulls in form imap fine the other two error "too many invalid logins" I have checked all the obvious. Anyone seen this or similar?
