I like how i am the only happy face!

In the macOS Dock profiles i added 'Network Home' onto it and it seemed to work fine, we don't map any other drives as we get them to use OneDrive and Sharepoint. There is an option there for inserting paths to network drives it seems. 100% This, Tried testing it out awhile back and it was close to useless!

Same as this, any BYOD device connects to the RADIUS controlled SSID and asks for their AD creds. The school owned staff devices are done on the machine being a member of an AD group

We also have Netsweeper and Ruckus and have a RADIUS controlled SSID, like gtech said best way to go is NPS Server in Windows Server.

The newer Macs it's not that expensive to add in the 10Gb nics when configuring, paired with a 10Gb switch and a decent NAS is a no brainer fo creative pros. Personally i don't make the most of my home 1Gb so i doubt i'll be going up to 2.5Gb anytime soon! Which probably goes for the vast majority of people who don't have a home NAS

Way i went about deploying Logic X sounds files was to have a caching server, set that up. Downloaded 1 Macs sound files over night and then the next day was able to do the whole suite in a couple of hours from the caching server.

Yepp, but if they can't get it working at home (which will be the case) this is the alternative

Worth noting that you can get student or teacher discounts for the Adobe suite, quite a good discount!
