Permissions didnt copy over, my fault I should of done a backup/restore but doing During work hours..(normal day). Managed to get AD to easily give access and with Inherit so main thing I look for now is the final tweaks. Ownership being one, I really dont see anything In 08 that allows me to do this quicker?

I think I am not having much luck with this thing.. I got the script running fine, I had to click okay several times per home area.. im guessing down to windows security All it does is set the domain admin and nothing more - folders are named as usernames as well.

Can I get the script or is that the entire thing there ?? Does it work on 2008 server?

Wish it was that simple, I gave that a try but it still will not record username. Even as my self (admin access). Really not sure what to do next, does it take the actual %username% or would it take the display name or other information to get it?

weirdly enough its working, i made sure group policy settings were going to the PC by right clicking the pc and getting the details. Changed the count down to 20 seconds and made sure the clock was synching with the server. also made sure the software deployed to it alright through GPO. So yeah all working now, even get a beep when the PC has got the shutdown signal. So lucky here its working a treat. Fantastic bit of software.

Am I doing something wrong? If i set it as say 4pm, If I log on any time after that ( even 30 mins ) it will give the warning and then shut down. But if I leave it at logon screen it just sits there. Ive looked through the threads, Im not getting any errors but it just sits there looking pretty.

Maybe im doing something wrong, I have read through the pages and couldnt find it. Got an issue where I register the username and it appears in the database but the username doesnt go with it. So when I go to reset password, it is telling me invalid so I checked the database its all there becides username is blank. I can add it in but with 1600 users I would rather not!

Might sound stupid but, is the software supposed to shutdown before loggon? Works fine if im logged in but what about PC's currently not logged on?
