At my last place, I was replacing drives on 2010 imacs left, right and centre with whatever spare drive or SSD I had laying around. I used the ssdfanctrl app, install and configure it to use the SMART data to control the fan, then run the following in terminal to hide the app, it still controls the fan but it can't be opened without knowing the app name and going via terminal: sudo chflags -h hidden "/Applications/ssdfanctrl.app"

The original charger is not type C and stays in my laptop bag. The 360 is quite nice imo as you can rotate the screen right round and use it as a tablet, mine came with the HP pen as well.
