The second IP belongs to Vipre which we use as our email security gateway, all email is sent and received through them. Its not just the IP that is blocked, it seems that our domain is blocked as Sendgrid uses a different delivery method.

Hi, We are currently having issues sending messages from our domain to all Google addresses. We have checked our SPF, DKIM & DMARC records are setup correctly. We get a bounce back message that says : host gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com [2607:f8b0:4004:c06::1b] SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: 550-5.7.1 [2001:978:2a01:0:6:0:1089:1091 7] Our system has detected that 550-5.7.1 this message is likely unsolicited mail. To reduce the amount of spam 550-5.7.1 sent to Gmail, this message has been blocked. Please visit 550-5.7.1 https://support.google.com/mail/?p=UnsolicitedMessageError for more 550 5.7.1 information. w26-20020a05620a0e9a00b00773ae74632asi1246387qkm.604 - gsmtp Google are not being helpful & blaming Microsoft even though the same thing happens when messages are sent from Sendgrid. Does anyone know a solution to this or how we can contact someone useful at Google to help?

Hi, Just wondering whether anyone has got any idea about this one? We have a server which hosts a filemaker database and a simple webpage on IIS. Both were accessible remotely until recent windows updates. The firewall is not turned on, but the server still seems to be blocking access from outside the company. Internally I can connect ok. Any ideas?

How about creating two path varibles to the program files & program files (x86) app folders and leaving out the path in the shortcut?

I dont think the VPN is the problem as I can access only servers ok.

Yes they are applied with GP's and I checked after to make sure they were off. The servers cannot be pinged by ip or netbios name

We have been using a VPN connection to our 2003 based network fine for several years now, however now I have introduced 3 Windows 2008 R2 servers:suicide: I have run into a weird problem. XP clients are unable to ping/browse two of our 2008 servers over the VPN connection, however they can ping/browse another 2008 server just fine. All these servers reside on the same VMware server. Windows 7 clients can however see all the servers over the VPN with no problems. I have tried disabling the firewall on the servers but this makes no difference. Does any one have any clues?

So what happens with printer maintenance? Do they come out to fix jamming / quality problems as part of the contract?

I have installed Office 2010 on a XP Professional SP3 machine here as a test and and found that all the drives are missing from the open/save windows. You can get to them eventually if you go though a convoluted series of clicking! Anyone else seen this problem?

We are using Sophos Puremessage 3.0.1, so I am inclined to blame that for the messages getting stuck on the server and causing exchange to report incorrectly that the message was delivered. The release notes for 3.0.2 mention a fix for messages getting stuck on the server.

No, we send emails directly.

Did a blacklist test that was fine. Emails weren't deleted, seem to be stuck in the exchange server but exchange had reported that they were sent.

Hello, Been having a bit of a nightmare with our Exchange 2003 server. The story begins like this: Over the last couple of weeks some emails sent to external recipients have not been arriving, not all of them just some randomly it seems. When checking the exchange message tracking, it tells me that the message has been transferred to the appropriate server via SMTP. So I thought I do some more checking to make sure, ran smtpdiag on the server, that came back all ok. Ran the online exchange connectivity tester, that was all ok. Ran a check to make sure our server wasn't blacklisted, nope that was fine too. As a last resort I rebooted the server last night. When I came in the next morning I was greeted by several people asking why they had lots of NDR message's, some of them dating back to November. To my surprise the messages that the message tracking had told me were delivered had actually not been delivered! When I checked the message tracking again, the results contained some extra lines with yesterdays date duplicating the sending process again with a NDR at the end! My questions are: Does anyone have an idea what happened? Why did the message tracking lie? Is the any method to guarantee a notification to whether a message has been delivered or not as NDR's did not work on this occasion. Tim

No fail / delay messages of any kind. I assume that the message is being filtered by the recipients spam filter or the recipient is accidently deleting it.

Hi, We have been using Exchange 2003 here for a number of years without any problems. Recently a few emails of different content & recipient have been reported to have not arrived, however some messages been received ok. I have checked the message tracking in the system manager and all appears correct, that the messages have been delivered to the appropriate servers. I have also run smtpdiag to test delivery to the affected addresses and that reports all is ok. From my point of view, it looks like the problem is not at my end. Anyone disagree?
