I had a 1500GB VHD that i have expanded by shutting down the VM and then in the host changing it to 2000GB. (it said max was 2040, im assuming the MBR limit, so i chose a little less than that) Once i rebooted the guest I could see the extra 500GB partition. So I did the usual right click, expand partition to use the new free space. However it then gave a strange error: Log Name: System Source: VDS Basic Provider Date: 24/11/2012 11:31:40 PM Event ID: 1 Task Category: None Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: fileserver1 Description: Unexpected failure. [b]Error code: 490@01010004[/b] It shows up in Computer Management Storage as a 2000GB drive However in Computer the drive still shows as a 1500gb drive. IVe ran scandisk in windows and it reports no errors and the capacity as 1500gb. This is strange, and its the main staff fileserver too so need to sort it ASAP ... Is there something stupid Ive missed?

I dont have a problem going an extra mile and writing scripts etc to do what we need... the problem I cant get round is where do these apps come from.

Yes this for me is great it also lets me see all the emails I have startted to reply to and got sidetracked with as it tags them with [DRAFT] rather than just dumping them into the drafts folder.

ok turns out it was the cable between the wall and the modem that caused the bad sync. replaced that and back to 16mb anyway still cant get this bloody thing working so Im going to try smoothwall express at each end. Will that do a p2p vpn with routing between each side ?

Any idea where these .appx are available from? Im wanting to use our Dell Slates with the Kindle app, wikipedia, One Note, etc etc so as to use these to their full potential and not have folk dropping to the desktop all the time. Also, what about needing a sideloading serial number is that still the case even with Enterprise edition?
