You mention in your original post this is effecting all devices on site? The main culprit here sounds like your core switch(es) are at fault if everything is losing connectivity.

SYSVOL and Netlogon not replicating to new 2012 Server
cscc replied to Theldron's topic in Windows Server 2012
Do you have any Event ID 2213 showing in the DFS replication logs? Also would be helpful to see an output of ipconfig /all for both servers. -
In EMC under Organization Configuration > Hub Transport > Transport Rules (tab) you could create a rule here to meet your criteria. And in order for it to meet time schedule requirements, have a look here: https://alanhardisty.wordpress.com/2012/01/17/schedule-a-transport-rule-to-be-enabled-or-disabled-at-a-specific-time-of-day-day-of-the-week/

@echo off IF EXIST C:\Office2013_REARM GOTO _END "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\microsoft shared\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform\OSPPREARM.EXE" >>C:\Office2013_REARM cscript "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14\ospp.vbs" /act :_END As a start-up script should work.

Something like this should work, if no input detected after 120 seconds it will shut down the PC.

Only works on Linux AFAIK, you could always run a VM instance on your Mac using VirtualBox or similar.

Do you have any Windows Servers? If so the WDS/MDT route is free and fairly simply to setup. If not something like Clonezilla to capture the disk image after the sysprep phase. +1 for Fog, although can be temperamental with certain hardware.

Thread bump, just started getting this exact issue! Really annoying. Running WDS on Server 2012 R2 (fully updated), capturing a Windows 7 image is fine however generates duplicated .wim files in the images directory. These entires also appear on the image selection dialogue (after PXE boot). Any ideas?

NTFSFix is a great tool for bulk permission changes: NTFSFix Works well providing your usernames match the folder names. You can either update the ACL by choosing "Add" or reset and replace the lot.

Do an inbound and outbound SMTP test from this link: https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/ Should allow you to identify where the issue lies. I see they have updated your DNS but could also be a NAT/firewall issue - pointing SMTP rules to the old IP address (assuming its changed) -
Ok you may need to edit the IIS config file directly and look for the entry, if it doesn't exist you will need to add it manually: This is double the default value Another link that directly relates to the issue: You receive error 401.1 when you browse a Web site that uses Integrated Authentication and is hosted on IIS 5.1 or a later version This appcmd code should work: I'm sure you already are but make sure you do a reset of IIS after making these changes.

I’m guessing IIS 8.5 if your on 2012? You can try using the following to change the value: Below link is a bit more helpful for setting SSL conditions depending on IIS version: Access Security : The Official Microsoft IIS Site Just a thought but you mention you have a valid SSL certificate, is for the your internal FQDN or an external address?

What does the following command return? Get-ClientAccessServer | FL AutoDiscoverServiceInternalUri If it isnt correct you can use the following to set it: Set-ClientAccessServer -Identity YOUR2013EXCHHOST -AutoDiscoverServiceInternalUri https://YOUR2013EXCHHOST/Autodiscover/Autodiscover.xml Another link that may be of interest for the second issue: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/exchange/en-US/e5bb6ad7-b18b-4c30-80c8-15b8ae519052/testoutlookwebservices-returns-413-request-entity-too-large-for-ews

Having read this somewhere before, I believe you have to change the boot controller in the BIOS on the server in order for the convertor to pick it up. Have a look for setting the P410 as first boot if available. This should allow the VMware cold clone to proceed past any previous error messages.

@jonnykewell1 - Have you got FOG working with Windows 8? Not tried here but heard it was a pain due to UEFI and the multiple partitions W8 creates.

WDS/MDT is your best bet. The following link is a good place to start if your new to it all: PeteNetLive - 0000737 - Windows Server 2012 - Windows Deployment Services - Deploying Windows 8 - Part 2: Prepare Windows 8, and Capture to WDS

Ruckus, Meraki, Meru, Aerohive, HP – all big players in the wireless industry. From what I’ve read/heard Ruckus seem to be very popular and successful across the board.
