Keep getting the something gone wrong screen whenever any of my users try logging into office 365 online. This is across multiple devices windows and Mac. Anyone else seen this?

Use it mostly for staff to rdp from home. Also looking to use to replace Microsoft rdp on our macs, we are an apple school, as we have found it so flakey. Biggest win we have had with it was to use it with our chromebooks to give staff something to access our terminal services from a device that was sat on a shelf doing nothing. Looking to add ldap so we can use AD accounts rather than the local accounts made in guacamole.

oh must of completely blanked that... Im looking at LDAP aswell- will probably use turnkey openldap. Been using guacamole the past 2 years and would never use anything else now!

Sorry today has been mad. these were my steps! install ubuntu- with the latest updates Allow SSH- sudo apt-get update;sudo apt-get install openssh-server Install Guacamole using the guide on this site- https://www.chasewright.com/guacamole-with-mysql-on-ubuntu/ Add the machines you want to connect to. Done! edit- to access externally you will need to get your isp to set up a reverse proxy- externaldomainname/guacamole -> guacamoleserver.domainname:8080 done this quite a few times and has worked flawlessly!

Will send you the scripts I use tomorrow. I believe I’m now running the latest version. Set up takes no time at all [emoji106]

I push out login items with profile manager here. Give users access to the folder containing all shares. They can only access the ones they have perms for.

Ended up recreating the group and all was fine again.... must be some rogue setting somewhere

Just started testing some sierra clients and they are not getting the settings applied by profile manager. All the profiles are installed and it works perfectly on all our El Capitan machines . Server is running on El Capitan.

What are people’s opinions on refurb servers? Need to buy two new hosts but budgets are extremely tight. Been looking at server source but open to suggestions!

When we print landscape documents to our mac print queue they keep coming out portrait. Mostly only happens with PDFs... Help!

Anyone uses much of the Apple side? Will set up a trial myself but would like a fresh perspective!

had this sometimes with my synology nas. Remove the binding to AD then readd always worked for me!

Liked the look of it. Not the cost. Set up my own guacamole server in Linux- which Magellan works from. Then used Hap for file access if they don't want the full rdp experience. Set up the same at my new school. But now using guacamole and foldr. Works great! If you want the password reset stuff set up the azure self service.

Got Munki set up and working on my mac environment. PKG files will download and install automatically, works amazing! However cant do the same with DMG files- I can list them to be installed from the software page but they will not install automatically. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I was on the SWGFL assigned range and didn't have this issue after i revoked the change.

If it was a swglf wide issue everyone would be able to access everything. Speak directly to RM and see what they say. If not make sure it isn't something your LEA has put in place. I had the access removed straight away. I spoke to the help desk based in my local authority and they told me it was my predecessor! My current school is with EXA but my previous was with the grid and I couldn't access any of the other schools I supported who were also on the grid.

Had this at my old school. Old it guy had requested access from other schools so they opened up the whole range... Another tech from a school I knew was able to access the admin pages of all my equipment!
