Sorry it was for Dean. ive removed the local profile though and its not showing for my test user now.. I've re allowed the control panel and can see both language options are there, so must need another setting? - - - Updated - - - ops just seen this.. will give it a go

I've been at it for 2 weeks... lucky my office has no windows. Yay thankyou! 50% there I've turned on control panel access to see whats happening for this test exam user and can now see that within language options there's English and Spanish. But i still cant see any bar or dock switch icon. There must be another setting.

Hi, we have bought the actual Spanish keyboards but GPO is only allowing ENG. How would i set the GPO to allow to switch between keyboard languages? when tested, each user has to install the keyboard language but students cant do this as control panel is disabled. any ideas?

Hi am trying to allow keyboard settings for ENG and Spanish but i've found each user has to download the keyboard language for the switching icon to show in the icon tray but obviously students cant do this as control panel is blocked. can i ask how you have done this? thanks

Hi, I want to be able to switch keyboard language settings via the icon tray shortcut - this is for students to use a Spanish keyboard for their exams. At present we have a student GPO that defaults the language/keyboard settings to to English(UK) and no shortcuts etc are displayed in the icon tray (ENG/Language bar etc). I assume that this is because English is the only listed language. As an admin i can install another language e.g Spanish and the shortcut appears... great. The problem is (with some testing) i have found that installing a language seems to be user based - so cant install as admin and it appears for all users. As you can see my problem - students are not allowed access to control panel/settings to install languages so the ENG/ESP option appears. Has anyone had the same issue? I have had a play with GPO settings but not sure which ones to enable/disable etc.. Thanks

Hi all, I wasn't sure where to put this so its in here..Move if necessary. I have logged a ticket with sophos but thought id ask if anyone else has a work around as sophos say its apple's design fault In Sophos Central/Cloud I have created a USB policy (for staff only to be read only with some exceptions to R&W - targeted at one test user for now 'domain\stafflogon') and this works fine on PC and now thin client, but will not work on mac OSX. Sophos have said that PC looks at Domain\user but apple use domain\computername\user so cannot use just domain\user as it doesn't see the computer name. Their solution was to add all macs for all staff users E.G Mac 1\user 1 - mac2\user 1 but surely this is not the only way to apply policies to users? its gonna take soooooo long!! and is a bad way of administering users. Has anyone else found a way around this? Thanks

They want stupid money for the full version I've heard that most management console wont talk to them due to their architecture.. So what are you using to manage these? Hi Is there a way to use outlooks calendar so for example, students can 'book' a time slot with a staff member but no one else can see who's booked it. just that its a 'busy' time? Or is other software needed for this? Thanks

Hi all, ive installed protools 10 and it works fine when im logged in (admin) but it wont grant access to other users when permissions have been given through wgm to the app and folder(s).. Ive tried deleting stored profiles and not signing the app etc but cant get it to work Running wgm 10.6.3
