  1. Hi all I have managed to get a fog server up and running, I can upload and image and deploy it but only when it's set to multi-partition image - single disk (non-resizable). I know that the problem with this setting is any hard disks smaller than my image will not accept the install. I've tried single partition setting that is resizable and I can't get it to be accepted. Help!

    FOG HELP!

It's ok guys, I realised I tried to set another storage location last night and put an IP address that wasn't the default node. Doh! Hopefully I'll be able to upload an image now.

    FOG HELP!

It is on a hyper-v VM, installed on a single partition.
  4. Hi all I've recently set up fog sever on ubuntu, when I log into the web interface, on the home page it doesn't display disk information, and I think this is the reason when I try to upload an image pc's are hanging on "mounting file system" I think this is obviously due to fog server not knowing where to store the images and fog not seeing the location of storage. any ideas?
  5. Steven this was just what I wanted. I've installed it for languages already, they love it. Thanks!
  6. I did look into FreeNAS. Thanks for the help though guys. All my thinking was that if you have over 200 machines with spare hard drives you could make a shared storage between them similar to torrenting? but hey I'm gonna make a nice hot cup of tea and think about what I've said...
  7. Hi I have had a request from a french teacher so the students can input accents on letters quickly without using ALT codes to put the accents in. She found this software, does anyone know anything similar that's preferably free? Type French accents with EasyType Thanks
  8. Hi all We're planning on upgrading all our desktops with SSD's, we're just going to leave the old HDD's inside the cases. Is there a way to turn these spare hard drives in the machines into a networked storage solution? Any magic software out there I can install? Thanks
