  1. I am trying to deploy Maximizer CRM 10 entrepreneur for a friends company, and would like it to print out orders for delivery drivers that displays the product, quantity, price and store. Unfortuantly the default reports either show the product and amount correctly with an order number and no Company name, or the correct Company name but no quanities for the products or product name just the reference number again At the moment this company is using excel spreadsheets and the sales guy is filling them in when he makes a call and printing that out. What they want is everything in Maximizer so they can print sales reports and be able to analise previous data and schedule meetings etc Cheers for any help Rich
  2. Get a quote for Trapeze Networks kit, I've got it here and it works a treat all POE access points the Ringmaster software that controls the wireless makes it easy to setup and manage etc. Not sure about the cost mind.
  3. Type usb to serial adapter in google ;-)
  4. My Computer - Tools - Folder options - enable offline files. Then (I'm assuming the laptop is setup on the domain) goto the mapped network drive for her work area (this is whilst the laptop is logged on to the domain) and right click on the My Settings folder and make available offline. I've had to do this on our network because https sites write to your My Settings folder and because the laptops are part of a domain their profiles and my docs are on the server so when they taker them home it can't get to the My Settings so it doesn't work.
  5. try making her My Settings folder available offline

    Movie Maker

It’s not possible to go back from a vista moviemaker file to XP although Vista moviemaker will open an XP file (once its saved in Vista it won't go back even if it started as an XP file). There are two solutions 1, is to get them to finalise the project as a WMV which isn't a bad thing otherwise they'll probably forget to save the clips anyway or the links won't match for example they save it on a memory stick its likely to grab a different drive letter etc. 2, get them to install XP's moviemaker on their Vista machines and use that instead. Hope this helps, Rich

  8. I’ve changed the databasepath.txt to databasePath=w:\\ and that’s worked. It would appear that Catch Up Literacy looks for the directory CatchUpLiteracy3 or its remembered the directory I told it to install to in the first place so it doesn't need that typed into the path. hope this helps Rich
  9. Hello there, I’m trying to install CatchUp Literacy 3 onto our network (RM CC4) I’ve tried installing via the MSI but that gives me the error that it can’t find the database. So If I install it manually it puts the database in my documents and settings which isn’t any good. So I found the network install zip file and I’ve put the .exe, database and database path.txt doc in there and edited it to databasePath=W:\\CatchUpLiteracy3\\ which is where the database is held. I’ve change the folder permissions there but it still gives me the error that it can’t find the database. So any help would be much appreciated.
  10. Cheers Ric, I think we'll hang fire on that until the warranty is up for renewal
  11. Hello all, I'm after a 300gb, 4 gb fibre channel h/d for a EMC clarion SAN. I have been looking on the web and their about £1200, however if I look for a similar spec h/d that doesn't specify EMC Clarion their about £250, my question is are they compatible? Cheers for any help Rich.
  12. Is the fan full of crap/working, because it might be overheating and clocking back to protect itself.
  13. I think the main reason for filters is that if little Jonnie see's something he shouldn't on the internet and goes banzai then it's not the schools and ultimately my ass on the line!
  14. 1. Change the power supply for a known good one. 2. Take all the H/D's and DVD Drives off 3. Unplugged everything except the keyboard and mouse 4. Try that 5. If its still blinking then its one of three things (I hope) * USB port shorting so check the pins and use PS2 keyboard and mouse * * Dust under the processor * * * Motherboards blown (you might see some corrosion around a capacitor) or if its very dusty give it a blast with compressed air Hope that helps
  15. I had a PS3 to play GTA IV then I got after 2 months so I sold it and went back to the pub
