Thanks, so I can use the switch on the edge but will need to get a layer 3 core switch.

Hi all, We have a HP 1810-48G switch as a core switch which is connected to a Cisco router which has been configured with two VLANs. I'm pretty new to VLANs but when I have previously set them up I have set up the VLANs and then configured the subinterface address/gateway for said VLANs. However on this switch it allows me to create the VLAN IDs with no further configuration. Am I missing something obvious, how do I setup this switch correctly. Thanks for any help Tom

Below is the unattened file ive put together. There are two issues so far that im stuck on.1st. I only have one image at the moment and would like it to be chosen automatically. Ive filled out the details however the choose image screen still shows.2nd. The Winodws setup screen shows on first boot asking for username/compname, input langauge etc. I thought id put enough detail in to pass that all over and have a hands off process from start to finish.
